  2. thnx the grey of the coupe or the rusted pick-up ? (building the pick up atm) the grey on the coupe was aluminium spray and the pick up pant is done with a hand brush and acrylic paints , made mixtures and added some saw dust on the body to resemble rust texture

  8. hi , got this kit ounce for cristmass , not really my cup of tea so i desided to turn it into a rotrod. since these bugatti's are hudge irl (like trucks) the end result is more like scale 1/16 the kit is frim italeri i used the cab where the passengers used to sit (the driver was in front outside) and turned it into a cab and the end result > put the steering wheel on the wrong side and added a great britain decal
  9. thnx i have no problem with admitting i'm a bit crazy
  10. this was the end result > and weathered the engine a bit
  11. some things bothered me like the ugly sort of scoop i made in front of the window , the grille was not really nice ...and some other stuff. recently i got really interested in weathering and i desided to redo some of my old models .. the thing is i painted it with some sort of aluminium zink spray witch when you sand it it almost looks like bare metal like on the roof that starts to look like bare metal since i recently bought some filled partsboxes from a guy who stopped with his hobby i had loads of choices and desided to add a blower then highlighted the body with some silver and painted the new engine parts then chopped up a front grille and shortened that and made a sun visor
  12. hi all , i'm new here and already introduced myself in the general chat section this is my 1932 ford 5-window coupe build from revel > i build this one when i just started plastic modelkits i know this is the finished area but maybe it nice to show a little history on how this ford coupe started and ended up the diorama in the pics is something i currently building i will make a topic of that in the diorama section i build the ford a while ago but used it as reference in the diorama and some of the best pics are made there chopped the roof that ended up like this >
  13. Hi all , i'm new here , so i thought i'd introduce myself here i'm richard , 37 from the netherlands (holland). , so if some of my words or sentences are a bit strange you know why  i build in 1/24 - 1/25 scale and mainly hotrods i just love this forum because here you find a lot of hotrod / classic builders , just my cup of tea i have discovered this hobby on a late age , it all started when i got a die-cast packard model 1/18 modelcar for free from a guy and started chopping that up and made that into a hotrod í soon found the modelcar forums online and a whole new world opened up to me and i decided to start 1/24 plastic kits currently i'm building a hotrod garage diorama witch i will make a opic about in the diorama section i also redid 2 of my first plastic kits a ford 5-window coupe with a changed to look like bare steel with flyrust and added a blower on the bigblock and currently re-building a ford roadster pick-up into a ratrod this is the coupe > bare steel look flyrust next to the roadster pick-up build (currently building that one) then i weathered the engine a bit the coupe still need a bit more detail on the engine .. well the rest i will make a topic for , see you around grts richard
