  1. oooh that soo nice , loving the detailed engine and machine work , the frame and body are spot on
  2. awsome really dig that body !!!!!!
  3. looks great to me , really realistic
  4. well it supported a car yes , the thing even moved up and down , but i broke one of the movable arms off , its in place but i dont know if it will hold a car now .. but in theory it should not be a problem to put a car on there if you ask me the key is when you build it and place it in a diorama to glue it on the floor if you want a car on it , then it cant flex , the floorplate is really thin and that allows flexing
  5. thats so cool cant waight to see the body on that beautifull chassis and engine set up
  6. decided to tone down the rust / brown and do more chrome , changed the ugly headlights for larger ones and did them chrome already put electric wires on them just need to direct them along the engine to the firewall then made a first set up for the fuell line out of the moontank , drilled a hole and glued in a piece of plastic where the grey hose you see fits in , so it has some depth and looks nicer , the plan is to cut the grey hose right after where it comes out so only a tiny bit sticks out and thenm add a thinner fuelhose inside the grey hick hose maybe i even put on a chrome sidevieuw mirror (top end side of the windowframe) and chrome doorhandles to break the brown) also will make the sprak plug wires red
  7. nice job > liking this !!!!!!!!!!!
  8. awsome !~!
  9. nice !! btw you got some cool partsboxes too i see !!!!!!!!!
  10. just did a nother round on the roadster fitted a moontank i still had , it was crisp but i roughed it up just a tad to match the roughness of the car better , gave it aa base silver coat . i will add a fuelcap and fuelline later on also cleaned up the rims edges some more , gave the axle struts a little silver layer (more washed) and gave the rocker covers a bit of chrome (only the top layer) crappy evening light pic >>
  11. just shot 2 pics outside , also sanded the edges all around a bit so i can give that a slightly different wash for some variation
  12. awsome looks and very very clean build , really digging this
  13. thats soo impressive !!! absolutly love this build and paint !!!!!
  14. very very nice and i'd drive that any day to bad here in holland such cars are rare and expensive as .. in other words over here its almost impossible to own . drive and buy a affordale cool american project

  16. awsome set up , gonna look sweet
  17. nice start , i dig the wheels , big but still vintage looking
  18. awsome build !! never liked the more modern el camino's but this type i always loved
  19. just when you think it cant get any crazyer and more beautifull you find a topic like this just mindblowingly cool
  20. thta just looks awsome love the chop and those wheels and stance are great , def. following this topic
  21. omg thats soooo cool absolutly love it only thing that crossed my mind are the hubcaps , rims , i think some rims with depth and maybe even a tiny bit of that green incorporated in the rims would compliment the body even more .. but thats just taste / an idea , even with these wheels its a winner
  22. thnx a lot , i was affraid it was too much .. in a way maybe it is but i just wanted to make a full rough rust colored rod ounce def. not going to do this a lot , maybe a bit of rust here and there thnx and yes i saw a guy who made leafsprings like that , very cool here is a loose testfit of the grille , just sitting loose in front of the car will sit a tad higher (not much ) the stuff on the rim whats on the shiny ring needs to be toned down still , thats not staying like that also will ad a pinstripe like on the dash on the top of the grille ...
  23. thnx guys and @ helix normal size banana they are just littke people lolz(no offense ment to little people) and @ charlie , the walls are like soft foam plates i found on a construction site in the dumster (lol) there are even better options blue hard foam plates that you can inscribe stomes or anything in and seal and paint
