  2. thnx all much apriated , after the last update i riupped teh grille apart , wasnt really what i invisioned , gonna do it over , still with the same parts but in a different way
  3. awsome !! so clean build i saw a piece on this cars on discovery (cant remember the program they where in) just got to love this right
  4. whow thnx guys really apriciated and to think it started as a gift kit where i was like > nice but what do i do with that (not my cup of tea) the thing is i really had a ton of fun with this kit and i def. want to do more out of the box builds like this in the future (one is already waighting on the shelf)
  5. thnx all !!!!! and @ jason >> turned out it wasnt photobucket , but i tried a setting change (sllep mode off) and i still have not had it again (fingers crossed) btw i always used imageschack but i;m at my max there , atm i use facebook as host and i must say it works awsome !!!!! and thnx abut the grille , glad it worked since im still kinda new to the weathering stuff ... and atm im doing the 1929 roadster coupe rebuild , then the 40's pick up also gonna clean that up a bit and change some stuff and then start some fresh kits ooh and continue the garage diorama , nice to be busy
  6. what i like most is most of these kits and build have like a hunoristic look and meaning , your result also looks kinda serious if you know what i mean
  7. clean build love it
  8. nice job ! liking it the hudge letters are a bit distracting though
  9. awsome , one of the cars i want to build in the future , love the color , wheels and ride hight !!
  10. awsome job !
  11. thnx just did some small head light on the grille , looks betetr imo i kinda failed with placing some mesh i got it in now but far back due to the center bar i could not make nice formed mesh in there i hope tomorrow i think hmm cool otherwise its back to the "drawing board" crappy evening pics made the headlights a bit yellow , i always like that on rough cars on the pic they look more yellow then irl here are 2 pics how the mesh is in atm , far back ... what do you guys think ? i could do paint on the inside edge now and its ratty so it doesnt have to be perfect imo
  12. well def different , i really love the uniqueness where you are at now i would def. put some modern suspension on it and paint it gloss , that front just gives me that opinion ratting it with that front .. not sure , but hey i might be wrong just basing my opinion on that pic .. if you want to rat it just go for it very curious on the progress from here great potential
  13. aaah cool !!!!!!!!
  14. started on the grille and used a ruined ford grille from the coupe kit . i cut out the closed middle section so i only had the edge cleaned up the edges a bit luckely i could salvage this piece of radiator also then painted this inside black , bitrough but later on you hardly see this , the black is only to give darkness and depth when i make a grille in front i also made a bottom piece from scrap plastics so the grille is closed again dryfitting loose in front to see how it looks then made a top on the carbs and tried some headlights from the spare kit .. hmm bit big , the bar is cool with the v8 logo in the middle , maybe fit smaller headlights on that ?
  15. today i moved everything from my workshed into my house , its getting too cold there , everything is cold and eventhough i could place a heater it will never become like real comftable in the shed .. so for the winter i'm building in my house started with some lighthousings out of my partsbox , like little bullet shaped ones and glued some lenses on them then fixed them under the bed and gave the houses the same rust threatment as the rest to make it beld in and not stick out so much under there on this picture you see the carbs on top of the engine , need some fuel lines en other detaling desided to place the window a tad openen like a safariwindow and made the glass slightly dirty , also drybrushed the tryes slightly and make then less static (i already sanded the tyres before placing them) next to the coupe on my new winter work area on the dinig table , i cant sit upstairs because i'm remodeling the whole upper floor / rooms
  16. very cool , just about right love it
  17. thats soooo cool dig this build !!!!!!!
  18. if i'm correct i i could choose between 2 dashboards , not sure but i believe this was one from the kit .. i put some more pics on , i had o do it in stages i was almost done 3 times and my screen went black , then off course lost all my text and pics i wanted to post almost suspect something weird on the photobucket host site because now its fine and when i was on there it went weird , so gonna do a scan right now
  19. thnx ! thnx a lot i kept the interiour like i made it back then > pretty basic the grille was made like this , i dont have a head on pic of it finished and weathered painted it chrome then made the surrounding grey then did the weathering glad the pics are on i did this 4 times now i have some issues and everytime my screen said no signal and i had to re-boot so i'm off to find out what is going on now
