  2. awsome build and great scratch work , love the outside of the box thinking .. loving the headlight position also makes it look so agressive
  3. thats looking so cool , love the brass effect and it being a bit darker then usual doent bother me , like you said you wanted it a bit brighter , now it looks like it never got a polish i find this topic particulairly interesting because i saw 2 kits like this for sale for almost no money (maybe they are impopulair here?) now i see the content of the kit i can see i could build a cool little hotrod out of one of these
  4. i would def. make the top sufface buldge a bit because then it just fots way better with the cars lines ... like said the rest > perfect

  8. yup looking great , just finish it off paint it some wires and hoses and it will be great
  9. cool set up , i build the exact same kit myself , def. going to look for a nother one , great kit imo looking great
  10. thats soooo cool personally i would have loved the flat black with those decals better but thats just taste , pretty cool job on the cf decalling , i know it bends well when heated but on this scale it must be a challenge
  11. very clean build great color , what is that like very dark grey metallic ? when i saw this the roof shape reminded me of a old model toyota celica
  12. wheels look great and love the suspension

  14. i see cool ... keep up the good work grts richard
  15. hi thnx and yes it does , it started out as a .... what should we call it fun project and something to shoot future builds in and before i knew it i turned into way more .. in fact for me what i have now is still the base .. so much work to do still (witch is good building it is the fun of it) and yes when i started more idea's kept flowing .. at one point i desided to ease down on the rough stuff and build some small stuff just so i can get a better idea of the scale and proportions.. the plans was to scratch as much as possible until a guy who stopped with his hobby seold me his airbrush for a friends price.. when i got there to pick it up he gave me the fujimi garage tool fit for free and i must say its so fileld and full of detail , still have enough to assemble from that kit i also got filled parts boxes all kinda hotrod related .. but yes i have so much plans still ..and its su nuch fun , when i finish this (no hurry at al) i will def. build more dioramas , they def. will be way smaller then this one
  16. found this thread ..............and when i started i could not believe my eyes .. just when you think you can build a decent model yourself , you see stuff like this this thread is sooo inspiring , stuff like this pushes you to incorporate more and more detail in your own work at times like this i think > i love the world wide web
  17. looks great really question and shoot me if i'm wrong but isnt it a bit high ? (ride hight wise)
  18. thnx ... btw i also did a deusenburg 1/18 die-cast into hotrod ounce with a ferrari f40 v8 and blower from a 1/18 v8 , roof made of the louvred window of the f40 ...(thats what got me into modelbuilding and made me go plastic 1/24) lol also a one off .. when i have time i will post that one also
  19. actually you are spot on when you sand it thats what it looks like even the scratches you can make in it is like a die-cast when you sand it actually what you do is you spray a coat of alunimium on the body , it looks like silver metallic paint and when clear coated its fine and nothing happens to it. when you dont clear it and rub it with a cloth it already turns more to metal and when you sand it ... such cool stuff but its available in difefrent versions i used to get it from work ( ) but then they got a different brand and thats completly different and turn into real matt grey ..
  20. stunning , so nice !!!!!
  21. thnx awsome story i also saw a citroen (french) delivery truck thing also would make for such a unique hotrod , i still find the kit to expensive but i'm sure i will find one cheaper soon here is a picture of a die-cast model so you can see it better , how cool is that to hotrod we will see when i finish the pick-up what will happen to this ford .. still think it could be so much cooler with some rougher looks
  22. stunning work , really beautifull , paint and decalling is so nice ..
