purple-licious testors one coat lacquer and the same was used for the clear.

Thanks guys for the nice comments. I picked up some dawn power dissolver and it worked quite well on removing chrome, today was my first attempt at polishing paint on a model. First i did light wet sanding with 2000 for small dirt nibs. Then went back over with 3000. Then rubbing compounds.

Here is my work area saturday the wife was doing some cleaning and broke a landing gear off one of my aircrafts i guess i should dust them.

I picked up Revells 49 MERCURY today.

Hello all its been nearly 30 yrs since building any autos last two years has been working on WWII aircraft but the gearhead in me is coming out I picked up a willys drag coupe but the down side the wife picked the color looking forward to sharing and learning here. jerry
