  1. This ones been sitting for awhile now its still being worked on just not very often heres how its looking now

  4. heres one i have been working on for a little while the welder is a scracth build along with the guages and torch tip
  5. thanks for the pic of the torch it helped make my mind up on how to scratch build one
  6. nice truck and i really dig the torch tanks in the back im working on a set my self did you scratch build the gauges and the torch tip would you mind showing a pic of the tip a little better
  7. i was thinking the same thing so im going to cut it and drop it down to match the cab
  8. started as the 77 gmc wrecker kit and didnt like the look so swaped it out for the 72 chevy cab and droped in a blown 454 and in the process of grafting a 70 chevelle center section in the hood just to be differnt comments and suggestions welcomed
  9. no its a orginal ford 8n bought new in 54 and been hard at work eversince
  10. a quick way to tell the differnce between a ford and a ferguson is by the grill heres a pic of a 8n ford and a ferguson to35
  11. its actually ferguson to30 or to20 the to35 had two sticks the shifter and a high low the 30 is a single stick like the one in the origanal pcture heres a pic of a to35 1.1 i recently restored
  12. nice builds id like to see some more of that awsome edsel theres one in my neighborhood that looks really close to the same colors and i remember my grandfather having a blue one for a short period of time
  13. eastwood restoration products make a line of spray paint called carb renew works great and looks originalwe use it in the shop whenever we rebuild old carbs i know it comes in both the gold and silver and 1 can will last a lifetime of model cars
  14. ive seen some pics of chevy tow trucks used around the 80s and the gmc tow truck kit is a pretty close match

  18. I really like the supercharged flathead is that from the kit another kit or scratch built
  19. haven't been able to get much done lately fighting off the flu and all hope to be back at it soon
  20. i definitely did not pay over 15 bucks for this kit new from the local hobbytown and i feel sorry for those that paid more i guess i should be happy. im enjoying all the work going into this one im way out of my normal box stock builds with just little custom touches credit too all the awsome builds ive seen here and the great tips inspired me to go outside the box
