  1. Why? Revell already has a 68' Chevelle!

Not so sure about that. RM did the 65 Z16, 1966 Street Machine, 1967 SS/ Pro Street, and the 1970 SS/ Street Machine.

AMT (MPC?)Did the 1968, 69, 71 and 72 I think. Several people asked for a 73 Chevelle or Laguna S-3. That would be a pretty awesome kit. The Collanade cars haven't recieved much love in plastic form. I would have rather of had those than Chevettes, Omni's and Escorts like MPC kitted.

  2. I am pretty sure it isn't bogus. There may be some difficulty with the way the link is posted, or with browser settings. If you have a facebook account forget the link and do a search for round 2 models. I do agree most people want very special items but eventually alot of people tend to ask for similar items. Think of all the kits that were not main stream over the years. Because 10 years old want to build Hudsons, or Edsels...? No, the seasoned builders asked for kits like these long enough and they were rewarded when they finally made it to production. If the question is out there at to what new kits you would like to see, what could it hurt to throw you input out there?

  3. I buy the Gorilla Glue because it fairly cheap, doesn't clog, and in most cases doesn't fog. I also use brushable super glue. Its purple in color, thin, and cheap (I think it's crazy glue brand). It has is own brush which makes for easy application for MOST tight areas. I will fog but not too bad. So far nothing that cannot be taken care of with a damp cotton swab. I also keep some plain old LHS Zip Kicker with a crappy old fine brush for INSTANT bonding, as well as a bottle of cheapo LHS de- bonder just in case. I buy cheap glue because they all will harden fairly quickly IMO.

  4. I would like to see pics of whats inside. I have the last modified reissue of the Yellow, and Silver one and it was a mess. Maybe the chrome tree won't have to be stripped completely this time. I really love this car. Is the car on the box art the kit or a picture of the die-cast? It seems to have too much scale fidelity for what I have seen for the past few issues of this kit. Might even make a good donor for my 33 panel van. Round 2 is killing it lately. They are doing some GREAT stuff in my eyes

  5. Not for very long I would imagine. Between the U.V. exposure and elements, the adheasive would let go and I would assume the gold toning which I am pretty sure is anodizing would fade. The lettering was probably initially a tampo printing or a vaccum metallic plating process. If the car is a garage queen that never gets driven or put through a car wash it would probably work.
