  1. thanks guys... Ian, yes it did come with chrome.... I just wanna know what the duece is up with the chrome from AMT? I always strip chrome with either Easy Off or bleach which literally strips in a matter of minutes, but for some reason with some AMT kits, Ive had to leave it soaking overnight and I still have some spots of chrome left... smh....
  2. I got this at Hobby Lobby last week with the 40 off coupon... I remember back when I was a kid (early 80s) Rich's department stores had an appliance liquidation store in Atlanta and they used these trucks to deliver.... So I wanted to build something similar to that, not an exact replica.... I have started the weathering process on it. And i will be throwing a scratchbuilt washer, dryer, and fridge in the back. So enough rambling, here are a few pics of what Ive done so far....

  17. This started as the hardtop kit and I ended up cutting the roof off, and shortening the trunk lid as well as hinging it. Everything seemed to fit together just fine after paint in mockup pics, but as I did the final assembly, nothing seemed to fit right anymore. Paint is Duplicolor Light Blue Metallic and clear. The lips and knockoffs on the spokes are color matched as well.
  18. Built this back in 2010.... Duplicolor paints with gel pen striping.... Nothing fancy on it, decided to go curbside on it with no motor....
  19. This was another last build of 2011 and at the time I was trying to get it done for the IPMS show in SD.... I made the deadline, however I couldnt make it to the show. Here is my build though. Hope you like it....
  20. Thanks Chris...
