Went to Hobbytown a couple weeks ago and this was in the clearance bin for 17.99 sealed inside.... I'm not big on the stanced scene... I'm more old school back when The Nopi Nationals was big here in Atlanta in 2002 or 2003.... So I'm gonna go with building this as it was owned by a younger guy in his early twenties.... Aftermarket exhaust, lowered suspension, aftermarket racing wheels, etc. This WAS a curbside kit... I've opened the hood and molded the front pan to the body. I don't own any import kits... So, I'm going to be scratch building the engine for this.... Here is where I am at so far...

I use a red oxide or ruddy brown primer as a base... Once its dried i take table salt and sea salt and after I dampen the body, I sprinkle both salts over the car.... After its air dried, I spray my body color and let it dry, then lightly scrub with a toothbrush under cool water to remove the salt..... After that dries, I take a cosmetic sponge and some acrylic paint such as burnt umber and burnt sienna and barely dab it in the paint and just dab it lightly over the body....
