  1. thanks, im doing my best haha
  2. This is as far as i gotten on this car but its a rebuild of my fathers. He probably built this car in the 80s or 90s im not sure but i do know that it was the pro street roadrunner and that around 1997 i got into building them myself and also decided that i wanted all of the parts out of this car for one of my own and destroyed it with out him knowing haha. Seeing how this car has sentimental value to me i am going to have to buy a new kit to donate the parts to complete it(if that makes sense) because of loosing the parts over the years(all you see is what i have to work with). In the end im not sure if i want to go back to the pro street class or more of a modern pro touring look. What do you guys think? Im open to suggestions. Thanks, Justin i started working on the DOCH hemi. still needs a little cleaning up but its on its way scratch built intake added the fuel rails vamped up valve cover progress scratch built turbo #1 thanks for looking, Justin
  3. Thanks. Ill have to keep an eye out for it
  4. Thanks. I think it should turn out pretty good
  5. I may. I have to get this one and its belly dump finished first lol Thank you
  6. alright thank you for the year correction. i saw on ebay that the kits to put this car back together original was like 40 bucks so i think im going to do a pro street car with some stuff that i have with maybe a more modern twist to it like a DOCH twin turbo hemi and a full tubular chassis and modern interior but still stick with the basic looks. I think im also going to paint it burnt or golden yellow with a darker silver or charcoal gray two tone.
  7. 409 so far. starting to think there is to much silver (engine block is black) so im thinking that the valve covers and block will end up painted the accent color of the truck which will be a medium orange
  8. thank you man. I couldnt think of a more different engine to put in it than a 409, i love those things. I have revamped it a little with scratch built race style vaulve covers and a deep sump pan. And oh yeah of course. after i get the full air ride(bags tanks and battery's) im going to add another tank and a dual air horn setup. also im going to leave the floor primarily open and set it up to where i can take it off and on.
  9. Its called Burgundy Frost....aka the fingernail polish i stole from my girlfriend haha

  11. it wasnt affected to much. on the bottom of the interior floor pans were the cab mounts that set the cab roughly 1/8th off of the frame. i removed those and sat the cab 2/16ths further down and the rest is cab skirts. So with that said i only have to remove 2/16ths off of the bottom of the door panels and the panel that goes at the back of the cab. ill post pics when i get to it haha
  12. Thank you. And I like any from the most custom and lowered ones to the most heavy hauling brick houses haha
  13. Thank you both
  14. I feel the same way. And thank man. As far as the custom work and detail you just have to keep at it and keep trying new things even if it doeant go well the first few times you will eventually get it
  15. little about myself hmm. im 23 i grew up and started working on real drag cars since i was about 5, i like anything that has custom work done, it shows the personality of a person. i try to think outside of the box and come up with new things all of the time. most of my cars on here like many others are pretty much scratch built and although i may not be as good as others i am trying to expand my horizon on customization and detail for my kits. i appreciate the comments weather they are positive or negative, either way i use it to push myself.thank you for welcoming me to the site and i hope everyone enjoys my build like i do, Justin
  16. yeah i guess i did. i didn't realize that the other site was a OTR truck sight and didn't lean toward the out of the box style of thinking for show trucks. no offense, im just one of the types of builders that likes a different take on things that others haven't done. i used to go to a truck show every year held by chrome shop mafia and people there had done intense mods to their rigs and i liked it so that's why i do what i do... yeah i haven't done one so i thought i would give it a shot
  17. Thank you. Honestly they are my favorite part of this truck. Im glad that everyone likes them. I had this on another forum and they all talked them down..haha
  18. this is awesome. i like how you design your chassis
  19. haha alright. Im trying to get some more done to it
