  3. Got the cab finished on bodywork, just waiting for a warm day to paint it. I had planned to paint it pearl white, but the closest color I could find is Dupli-Color Candy White. Here's the update pictures...
  4. I made an "N" scale R/C car for a friends railroad layout at his hobby shop in Joplin. I used sprue from a model car kit and wrapping wire for the tires...

  9. Thanks everyone! This is the first straight build I've done in awhile. Usually I modify something. The only thing I changed was adding wiring to the engine...
  10. I forgot to mention that I used the decals from Keith Marks on this build. They are some of the best decals I've ever used!
  11. Thanks Chris. There was an article that showed how to use the parts from the monogram T/A to change the front clip. I didn't get to see it until after it was too late. It would've made this build a lot easier...

  14. This is a build I finally finished after 3 years. I used an Airfix Type K kit and added parts from a Monogram Trans Am kit.

  19. That is one of my favorite kits! The metal body version that came out (late 70's, early 80's I believe) was also a good kit. The fit and finish was excellent from what I remember.
