  1. Building a model one time, my workbench (computer desk) was packed with junk I was working on. There was a knock on the front door, and I was holding the model in my hand. So I got up, set the model down, went to answer the door. A new kit that I had been waiting for had just arrived! YAY!!! Came back in to my desk, and sat down... CRUNCH!!! I had set the model on the chair because there was no room on the desk and had completely forgotten that I put it there... As for age, I don't believe it has anything to do with DUH moments... All my DUH moments are courtesy of all the times I banged my head on a solid surface, right after a DUH moment!!!
  2. I was a member of the Revell club in the early 70's as well. I wish I still had the kits they sent me. I think I received 7 or 8 total. I was so excited knowing that they were going to send me a new kit.
  3. COOL!!! Thanks for the birthday (5-17) gift!!! I plan on building the last truck I ever got to drive...
  4. Whew!!! Thanks! I needed that update!!! That is looking really nice! You've made it look like a masterpiece!!!

  6. This is gonna be pretty cool!!! I definitely have to watch this!
  7. Thanks Dan! I had a slight mis-hap with it. So I need to repaint it and finish it. The van is another unfinished project I need to work on.
  8. That is pretty cool! I grew up reading CARtoons Magazine, and it reminds me of that.
  9. "The accident was HORRIBLE!!! SIMPLY HORRIBLE!!! That 50's punk in his '57 Chevy didn't even touch his brakes and now my poor pink bug...

  11. Here's a pic of the engine and specs... "For decades, Cosworth has supplied engines and electronics to leading teams in world motorsports, including Formula 1. Thanks to Cosworth's renowned experience, the Lyonheart K’s supercharged 5-litre V8 delivers 575PS and 700Nm of torque."
  12. Sorry Don... I didn't mean to get you laughed at. For my penance, I will throw myself in front of a fast moving turtle.
  13. That belongs to a friend of mine named Zack. He founded the Denver Hearse Association.
  14. I know they were having electrical problems in the sleeper. I drove several different Volvo's and each one would have something wrong with it.
  15. Thanks Harry!!! That looks a lot better!
  16. I agree 1000% Harry! This is probably the best "retro look" I have ever seen. I also agree the side scoops kinda throw it off as well. As for the price... I guess I'll be a dreamer...
  17. This is cool! http://autos.yahoo.com/blogs/motoramic/lyonheart-k-creates-21st-century-e-type-moneyed-163926367.html
  18. This is truly awesome! The details are sharp, and the look is wicked cool! I will definitely be checking in on this build!!!!!!
  19. I think casting the ears, tongue, and teeth separate would be the way to go. I wouldn't mind building a copy of the truck myself!
  20. That came out really nice! Now I have get one! Great job Brandon!!!
