  1. Heres some Pacific P510Fs. beats the you know what outta just another Paystar...
  2. I would think it would be a good seller for someone. Get a little more mileage out of all those unbuild paystars everyone has sitting in thier closets, and make it easier to build some great NW loggers, dump trucks, and oilfield rigs.
  3. Grandt Line makes a lot of good stuff. They make nuts and bolt heads too, although I usually use the Plastruct styrene hex rod for that. More sizes & cheaper.
  4. The Tichy rivets look to be too big to me. According to their website, they start at .020, which would be 1/2" in 1/25. The Archer ones go down to .008, which would be .2 in 1/25.
  5. Does anyone know if this Pacific P510 nose conversion for the Paystar cab is available in resin?
  6. I have literally dozens of these that I will never use. PM me your address, and I will send you a pair.
  7. REALLY good stuff there. The 6V71 pics were especially helpful for me. Excellent link. thanks for posting!
  8. daily. The kw is there, willl be buying one when the budget permits, no U series autocar. A KW complete kit would be nice, and a Hall-Scott for power please...
  9. Theres a spy....in the house of love...ROFLMAO!
  10. If you mean a kit, no. Dave Natale has a resin Hayes Clipper conversion, and I believe there used to be a resin HDX complete kit available many years ago.
  11. Looks great. I was wondering if you could post your pics a tad larger? I am old, its hard to see much on these.
  12. Maybe I will send you some more Oshkosh stuff, see if I can light a fire you! LOL
  13. I should have dug a little deeper on Hanks. Just found this too. Look closely, there is a small pic of the optional front suspension. Between these two pics, I am in business.
  14. LOL! Well, I guess now we know where John Calvert got the idea for Cal-Tracs! GREAT STUFF, that was EXACTLY what I needed! 99% sure thats the same set-up as on the KW's, Hayes & pacifics. BIG thanks!
  15. Yes, I noticed a very similar set-up under Pacifics and Hayes, so you might be right. That would be great. Thanks.
  16. I would be interested in seeing that. Even if its not the same as the KW it might come in handy in the future. Thanks.
  17. checked there before I asked here. No photos showing how they attached to the front axle. Maybe I will try asking on Hanks Forum...
  18. Heres a link. Scroll down. In this sequence, they are actually unloading the trailer with a grapple loader, but it gives you the idea. Nice Mack, by the way. http://www.hankstruckpictures.com/pat_russell04.htm
  19. They would have a crane at the sort that would lift it up into position after unloading. The yarder would lift it off at the other end. Check Hanks, you might even be able to find a pic.
  20. I am looking for good close-up photos of this front suspension, particularly how the front links attach to the axle. This set-up was optional on the LW848's and I think a similar set-up with a heavier tube axle was standard on 849's & 850's. A similar set-up was used on some Hayes & Pacifics.
  21. Cat skinner is what i always heard. My uncle Rollie was a "cat skinner". VERY nice work.
  22. Really nice work. Love the vintage logging stuff.
