What kind of glues are you guys using when you do a mock up before you do the final gluing ?

My version of zz tops 34 I used the revell 34 ford snap kit

I been usin a Badger Patriot 105 air brush for a year now and I clean it well after each use with water then a bit of thinner I use mostly acrylics and some alclad now and then should I be taken the center tube out where the needle runs though and given it a good soaking to make sure theres no paint build up happening in there what do you guys do ??

skin tone was vallejo skin tone #71076 and thank god for a maginfyer head set lol

Ive had good results by just using testors gloss black acrylic as a base coat followed by a light coat of alclad aqua gloss clear when dry just buff with a micro fiber cloth then the alclad chrome and one more coat of the aqua gloss clear alot of work but if done right it looks amazing alclad is very tough to work with but the end results is sweet willys was done in candy orange and the truck bed was done with the chrome

Hey guys I wanta make and Sanford and Son decal for the side of a pickup anybody know what font this is by chance ? gonna use it on a 50 ford the orginal truck is a 51 thou I believe different grill

Just finished this one its an awsome kit but the decals where a bitch but with a few choice words spoken came out pretty good

Hey guy just made a neat score found this John Deere 310 backhoe kit from 1999 still sealed complete with a tube of harded glue packed inside guess it didnt survive 35 years in the box lol anyhow it doesnt give me an idea of the color to use its molded in a orange yellowish plastic so id like to paint it roughly the same way anybody ever do one of these and what color did ya use ?? Heres a pick of the box any and all ideas welcomed.

My version of a flat bed wrecker started off with a louisvile ford coke truck and scratch built the rear deck using plastruct double diamond sheets Im pleased with the way it came out what do ya think ?

My 53 ford I hate the white spots left over from the polishing rags I thought those novus polishing matts wherent susposed to do that lol

The simple green will thin it out a bit but mixed up it turns the future green but no worries it sprays on and dryes clear and it gives it a wett look kinda like the testors wett look clear coat i mixed it 2 parts future to 1 part simple green it seems too work great.

Picked up an old Lunge Box kit paint is krylon sliver base coat with tamiya clear green top coat then two coats of future mixed with simple green to get the wett look but i see i forgot to paint the ends of the exhaust duhhh

My version of the bugaboo painted with testors chrome yellow and clear coated with 2 parts future floor wax and one part simple green cleaner give its that wett look found that tip on this message board but what do you guys think is a good wax to polish over top with ?? any ideas would be welcomed thanks for lookin

A very simple kit but with some Pegasus phat daddy wheels and some Alclad candy red, turns a simple kit into a sweet ride I think
