Duramax Motor
Trailer Trash Kustomz replied to rtcroghan's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
Been a while since I've posted in here, but I finally got one of my resin duramax engines painted and built up as a display model. I did it in just basic paint scheme of black and silver but I didn't paint the pulleys. I should've as it would have brought out the detail of them. I'm still waiting for an artist friend in Colorado to finish the instruction diagrams for me. He says they should be ready in a few weeks though. -

With the way these go together they could be made into dually wheels. I hadn't really thought about that. Each wheel comes as 2 pieces - a ring and an insert. The inserts can be on from the back or front of the ring depending on what offset is needed for the build. I thought I had a pic of the seperate wheel parts. I'll try to get a pic of them up tonight after work Those are my Chevy Texas edition wheels in the background of the pic btw. Simple and clean. -

I'll try to get my engine built up this week when I have some spare time. Then I'll post up some pics of it. I'm working on a banks twin turbo option to be available in addition to the engine. -

I just finished making a duramax Diesel engine and will be offering them in resin in mid August. I've also done the 460 ford conversion to 7.3 powerstroke and offer those in resin. I haven't set up a photobucket to. The built up engine is my 7.3 stroke and other 2 are my duramax. I'm in the process of building a Dmax up to put into my 65 Chevy dually conversion build. -

Just got back from vacation this week and starting to cast them up. The site admins won't allow selling on the page so I can't post pricing. I will post some pics of them as soon as I have some current ones of the wheels and tires. Pm me if you need more info on them. -

1973-1979 ford crewcab
Trailer Trash Kustomz replied to 01blueedge's topic in Truck Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
RMR resins just started making a resin crewcab 73-79 ford ready for ordering as of earlier this week. -
I just started casting about a year and a half ago. I've made most of my masters myself but have a partner now that does most of our body, cab, and bed masters. First off, whoever makes the master gets credit from me, because that is simple respect and the utmost salute to their talents. Second, making a master is tough enough, hut when you see your hard work being touted by someone else as their own - that's the ultimate disrespect in my eyes. Futurattraction, your master work is incredible to put it mildly brother! I can only hope to be as good of a caster as some of you in my due time ...

The casters name is Greg van sickle and he's also working up a centurion. For those that aren't familiar with it, the centurion is an excursion type vehicle -
Isn't that the one from the Meng kit? I thought that one was a 6.7 powerstroke. I'm not certain as I haven't gotten that kit, but that's what I've been told about it.
