  1. The first pic is a completely different car its a 10hp so ignore it as a reference (the top body is a Roi des Belges body whilst the lower one is a T.T. Body) - Bear in mind as well that the body on #26350 was built in 1953 and is a replica body so may not match original bodies. Roof trusses temporarily in place, they now need to be cut back to the brass support running diagonally across the diorama Wayne
  2. Hi Tony, If I recall correctly the Airfix 1905 R-R is of the 20hp chassis #26350, see second car on this page - http://www.rrab.com/rpsg.htm - It doesn't look too bad to me but maybe once seen in the flesh one can see more issues - I know the line of the seats is wrong, not sure how easily that can be fixed Wayne
  3. Hi All, I have instructions now thanks - Now to find bits, does the 1/32 VW Beetle have an engine? Thanks for the wheels link Blunc Wayne
  4. A little bit of progress
  5. Hi Blunc, I will look at slot car wheels, not too fussed about exact out the box as so much is missing gotta find an engine somewhere - The kit is by Airfix wayne
  6. Very nice Charlie, I am hoping to acquire a Darracq soon. Wayne
  7. Hi All, was digging through my scraps box for something and came across this beach buggy which turns out to be 1/32 scale, my current interest - I would love to rebuild it and would like to hear from anyone who can either help with a copy if the instructions for the kit or any spare parts please - also open to any suggestions for a source of wheels (1/32 VW Beetle?) Thanks Wayne
  8. Hi Charlie, I look forward to seeing your ideas become reality - Which brass era cars did you get? Wayne
  9. Wow great build, thanks for showing us Wayne
  10. not much progress but I have fixed up the two left side walls, and the garage door and motor - I have done some other bits n pieces too like spanners, screwdriver, hammers Wayne
  11. Now whilst I would be really pissed if someone did this to a real Duesenberg, this does look very nice - Wayne
  12. Thanks for the comments all - First wall panel painted up, white with warhammer gryphonne sepia to the joints, looks a bit dark to me - Any suggestions re making a good looking white painted wall please Thanks Wayne Few more pics with base painted and 1 wall set up - Also shows some equipment I have painted up
  13. Hi Walter, wish my local hobby shop had lindberg kits, they are not easy to get here - The 34 Ford sounds just right for chopping. I am hoping to get a Pyro Chevie Cabriolet that I could use for a rat rod? Or maybe just build it standard for now. Wayne
  14. A bit of progress, started re-assembling the car, I see the bonnet won't line up properly now, not sure what happened there and the front axle is a bit off, it had broken so I must have mis aligned it a bit - I do have most of another kit available, so will probably build that to get a nicer 2nd car. Wayne
  15. Hi Tony, thanks for the notes. I am mounting the floor to another piece of "foamboard" (I am not sure its foam core as it looks like just one thickness, no layers) which will them be glued to a wooden base, all done with either impact adhesive or wood glue, I need to trial the wood glue first. I will also trial painting it, this stuff seems quite stable as its used for outdoor signs though of course there are no laquers etc floating around in large quantities in the air here (we hope!!) Wayne
  16. Hi All, I am new to this forum, mostly model 1/32 but I have done a few 1/43 and 1/24 - 1/25 - I take it this CBP can be any scale? If so I will enter with a Heller 1/43 Mercedes 450 rallye car, as it already has Rallye stickers its a start to getting it looking like a cannonball car - Also I should be able to get it finished by Dec 1st - If Ok to enter let me know please Thanks Wayne Pic of kit
  17. So I managed a bit more tonight
  18. Hi All, not much progress today, it takes ages to score all the blockwork!! Anyway some pics for you. If I were to do this again I would make the walls from one piece and add detail for the columns rather than have them separate as I have made them - Wayne
  19. Hi Tony, I look forward to its resurection at some stage - Perhaps a specialist food store /bakery and a camping store? Food items are available in 1/35 as are things that can pass for camping goods, rucksacks, bed rolls etc in 1/35 from military sets Cheers Wayne
  20. Thanks Skip, I will wait to see what they are like. Back to the Packard, I have applied another coat of paint, it is looking good, pics once the paint has dried - Wheels are assembled so should be able to start assembling the rest of the car. Wayne
  21. Wow nice combination, I love these way out hot rods Wayne
  22. Nice start and a great idea, is this the Revell 512TR? Wayne
  23. Hi Tony, how is the progress on this scene, your work is very impressive and well thought out, something I will have to remember doing my dio as its a bit off the cuff at present Wayne
  24. Hi Charlie, yes its a great size as it will fit on the bookshelf with a little overhang. Pics of the progress today Wayne
