I'd love to find a couple of the '62 Ford Galaxie kits. I don't know the history of the molds, but I wouldn't complain if it got reissued.
I had a '62 390/375hp 4spd convertible back in the 90s and it's the one car I regret getting rid of. The fun of driving it far outweighed the poor fuel mileage.
I brought up a 62 Galaxie as a kit for Revell to do to Ed Sexton quite a few years ago.
He said AMT did one. I replied that was over 40 years ago!
Mentioned to him all the Chevy's Revell did that AMT had also made, he didn't have an answer for me. -
My find for the day.

Not sure if this will help but here are pics of a 59 Caddy engine showing where the oil filler tube is located.

Exercise!
Went to three Flea markets I hadn't gone to before and all I got was some exercise.
Did find some overpriced NASCAR kits but that was it.
Will stick to my local flea market for now. -

Is that the one where the headers run thru the inside of the car?
Looks like they do. Pic from the Auto World store.
Will have to get a couple of these. -

I agree. The stand alone valve covers, as pictured on the bottom of the "The Judge" reissue box confirm that:
Thanks everyone for the ID

Definitely see a Pontiac engine in there. Not sure about the rest.
I'll go with unknown Pontiac FC chassis and components when I put it up for trade.
Trying to get some issues sorted out with an on line postage/ shipping site before I put it up.
Thanks -
Went back to Drastic Plastics and it seems most of the components were used on numerous kits.
When I put it up for trade I'll list it as unknown for sure MPC Funny Car components12 minutes ago, Jack L said:looks like MPC 69 GTO f/c

Well, you've stumped me. Looks like an early MPC funny but I can't nail down which one. Every time I think I've got it, some part in your pics doesn't fit. Is there a chance there are parts from more than one kit here?
Mark?
Not sure if more than 1 kit, they were in a ziplock bag with no info written on it.

Cleaning up my building area and came across these parts. Tried to find out what kit they were from by looking through the Drastic Plastics instructions but had no luck.
Will be going up for trade once I know what they are and I can come with something I can use.
Thanks

Here's the Nova Junkyard. If I had the three missing pieces, I could get one of them on the shelf in about 2 hours. I can overcome, but it will take me some time to scratchbuild the hood chrome trim piece, and then search the parts boxes for a suitable dashboard and rear bumper. Oh well, it'll be "fun."
Snake, PM me, I have a new hood piece

That sheet would have been used in several kits because it has Ford, Chevrolet, and MoPar parts decals on it. 4/66 is too late for 1966 annual kits but too early for 1967, so it would have been used in Trophy Series or other non-annual kits. Sometimes kits were not produced with the same decal sheet over its entire length of production, especially if the box art was vague about markings. So it would be tough to pin down exactly which kit(s) included this very sheet.
Thanks for the info, I wasn't thinking about Trophy Series kits .

I hope they do the Trans AM with the Ram Air hood and the Charger with a stock hood. I'd bee in for a couple of each along with the stock hood version Nova.
One to build and one for slot car conversions. -

Where can I find these wheel hubs in 1/25?
How about the rims from the Ridge Runner Pinto or Rat Trap Vega modified kits?

My buys from yesterdays MDA Roanoke VA Model Show and Swap. Got some great deals, the Spirit of 57, 69 Chevelle and 59 Imperial were sealed and $15.00 each.
The F85 and snap Barracuda were complete and unbuilt. Same for the Pyro 37 Chevy which is for a friend of mine that owned a 1:1 coupe back when.
Also bought the dual axle trailer from the Monogram Modified Racer and Trailer kit, and a decal from the Swingster for the late 50's contingency decals.
If you haven't made it to this show in the past you should try to make it.

Went through some more parts kits, found quite a few items to post next week in the trade forum.
Also got my pickup loaded with 27 boxes with about 300 kits I'm taking to the MDA Model Show and Swap in Roanoke VA tomorrow.
What a novel idea !
