Anyone from the forum going to this show?
I'll be vending there with about 80 kits for sale.
I will also be representing the Fast Trax Resin line of bodies at this show.
Stop by and say Hi.

Just wondering if there is still a model car show in Taunton,ma? I know it was usually in March or April and at one point was run by masscar, but I haven't seen any info on it in a couple years, anyone know if it's still a thing, or have I missed out?
Thanks,
Chris, I just asked a friend about this show after seeing your post. The show is still held at the same location at the Holiday Inn.
It is being held this year on March 18th.
I do not have any contact info.

I hate that I missed you guys. Frank, the guy helping you said that you had gone outside when I came by. I told him to tell you that I came by. Of course I probably walked by your table four times before I saw your sign, oops. I ended up talking to another truck builder for some time, and wasn't able to get back because I had some where that I had to be. I did score a Transtar II kit though.
Sorry i missed you there. I had to take a walk occasionally as I threw out my back and needed to try and get it back to semi normal.

Did fairly well at the show today, sold a good amount of kits and picked up a few.
Got to meet Mike999 from the forum for the first time and saw Mikemodeler who I haven;t seen in awhile.
All in all a good time.
Next years show is February 16th, 2019

You have a great selection there. Please share any pictures of the built models on display. I always enjoy seeing what others are building.
unfortunately there is no display area, just a swap meet.
If there is interest among the attendees there is a possibility of having an area where builders can display their models.
The only thing is that they would have to police/supervise the area themselves as Allen has a very limited staff to help him run the show.

Thank you for sharing these photos. I always enjoy seeing what others are building and get a lot of inspiration from their builds.
I didn't take the photos as I did not make it there this year.
Photos were taken by one of the SCMA club members. I just have his Fotki site bookmarked for checking out show pics

Tried 50 times with old and new ID....'invalid session' is all I get.....
Dave, when you log in check that the user name you are using is correct.
Somehow it changed my user name to my email address on the log in page and I couldn't log on.
I changed the email address that was in correctly shown as my user name to the correct one and I was able to log on.

Great news that they were able to restore it.
I just went on there to see what was back up again.
I did notice there were numerous SPAM posts.
I hope they can get that taken care of.

Did anyone take any pictures to share ?
This swap is next month and there is no contest or models on display. It is a swap meet only.
The SCMA show was Saturday in Spartanburg SC, I didn't go to it.

My Original 1960 Release of the Double T had this Card in it . I've since acquired another . The Double Dragster had a Pocket Sized NHRA Rule Book in it . This I lack due to loss . The '68 Mustang Cobra first release (1968) had a little 33 1/3 Record of Carrol Shelby running a Cobra through the Course at (?) Seibring .. That l also have lost through time .. The Model B and V/8 Coupe Cards my friends had in the day . Thanx ..
I remember the Mustang Cobra record, a friend had one when the kit first came out.
I didn't know about the NHRA rule book in the DD kits. Another interesting fact about the early AMT kits.

New to the novelty range will be a Bankruptcy Courtroom diorama in 1:24 scale complete with detailed auctioneer and bidder figures.
And will be offered at a price of 3.00 versus the normal 30.00 list price to reflect the 10 cents on the dollar ratio of the proceedings.

Muncie, thanks for posting your scan of the 32 Roadster.
3 down, 3 to go.
Hopefully someone has the cards for the 32 roadster the "Deuce" and the 40 Fords that can be scanned and added here.

I have this one. Its all I have left of this kit from when I was a kid!
Thanks for posting that scan and to everyone else that commented.
Two scans out of the possible six that were most likely in the early Trophy kits
Hopefully there are others that have the missing ones that could be scanned and posted here.
It sure is interesting to see what was included as extras in the early kits.
