Hi, I have a 1970 cuda model that I built years ago and im now rebuilding and im missing a hood, How do I tell if I need a 1/24 or 1/25 scale as I have no idea how to tell the difference. I have NO box or anything to tell the scale of the body

Oh, by the way, Im in Georgia Vt, about 30 min north of Burlington so about 2 1/2 hours from bennington. I might take you up on that deal, we will have to wait and see

Thanks, My old cars are nothing to take pics of but I will take pics of mine in progress builds and post them up- currently I have a 1970 cuda and a 1971 gtx going but I just traded a foose firebird for a 1970 aar cuda, 1967 dodge coronet,1970 dodge challenger T/A,1968 dart gts,1968 dodge charger and a vts viper dodge truck. All are already built and are a little rough but Im going to be restoring them. I like restoring the old ones and bringing them back to life better than oob so I should be expecting those soon.

Thankyou very much for clearing that up for me 1972 coronet and I did not know I could update the kit using a different chassis, Thankyou

I just read the whole thing! very good job, hope to see the firebird in that. haha-great work

very nice looking dart! I never thought that color would look good on a dart but It looks great!

amazon, where I bought it stated that it had a new and improved dash and chassis. I see it in the dash but the chassis I just thought it would have more detail, I guess I shouldn't of assumed. not trying to start anything-just saying what it is in case anyone else were to buy one
-
I know what your'e saying, mpc said it was new tooling and new and improved better detail lol but I guess I should of not trusted that.
-
I just received the mpc round two daisy duke road runner and so far Im not happy with it.
problems.
1.bad mold lines on the body(roof meets quarter and some on rocker)but I can fix that.
2.The chrome is not good quality at all,it would need to be stripped and coated to be perfect
3.Body is very flimsy and the plastic is very thin.
4.The engine compartment and firewall has absolutely no detail to resemble the real thing.
5. the front suspension is already molded to the chassis and the rear is just the metal rod.
and finally 6. the exhaust is molded to the chassis.
so..so far Im not happy with it.... I was going to build it but now I think I might just use it for parts or something. What do you think?
Thanks -Cole

HI, I've been building models for all my life that I can remember. Me and my brother used to build them and play with them but they were never "right" (missing parts, bad paint, ect) I just recently got back into model building when I got 6 models for christmas. a plymouth superird,1971 cuda,1971 gtx,1969 gtx and a foose firebird and a mustang 3 in 1 kit. Im a all mopar guy. I lived around mopars my whole life and I have a 1968 dart and 68 cuda im restoring. I ended up using the mustang kit as parts and I don't know what im going to do with the Pontiac. The models im building now are going to be way better then from when I was 7. oh by the way my names Cole.
