  1. Beautiful!
  2. Thanks, guys!
  3. Any chance we'll ever see the Dick Harrell Camaro funny car come back? I can't even find one for sale at any kind of an obscene price.
  4. This was a fun, painless build for a club contest. I added one of Connkurs' great pre-wired distributors, otherwise out of the box. Yes, the fender wells are supposed to be red for the W-30 option.
  5. My wife is also very supportive, and sometimes even helps out when I need it "3 hands". Occasionally though, I do get asked why I need another model kit when I have all those unbuilt ones in my modeling room.?
  6. Picked up the Bantam Blast today at a local hobby shop, glad to see it come back around.
  7. Love em' all but this one is really cool. Best I remember, it was nicknamed "The Flying Barn Door".
  8. Mine would be the Dick Harrell funny car, can't even find one to pay a ridiculous price for, but still hoping my permanent Ebay search comes through, someday. A Barry Setzer F/C would be a good runner-up.
  9. Looking great!
  10. Hey Rick, sounds like there's a chance we were racing at the same time. Did you ever run at East Bend? I'm originally from Dobson and we went down there a lot of Sundays.
  11. NC r us. I'm in Archdale, between High Point and Randleman.
  12. Archdale,NC, near High Point.
  13. Just recently saw the Bantam Blast is being rereleased, might be a good time to start a Pure Hell build.
  14. I left modeling in my late teens, like a lot of folks. Girls, cars, and alcohol took me away from the hobby. :-). I started back modeling military subjects in the early 90s,and had a request to build a model of the Sox and Martin GTX kit, which was given to Ronnie Sox. I'm now working on a Winged Express, and enjjoying it! A Pure Hell is probably coming up.
  15. I've been trying to find some good, detail photos of the old Altered cars, for a couple of models I'm working on. The Pure Hell picture was worth the price of the book!
