  1. Thanks for all the help. I've got a 32 Tudor on the way.
  2. I'm not wanting anything that's out of this world. It's a Revell 32 3 window coupe. I've got the wheels & tires lined out. I'm just wanting something that's not too extreme. A kit flathead would be the easiest solution.
  3. I’m looking for a kit that has a good flathead motor in it. This is for a Revell 32 Ford.
  4. I didn't know where to put this so I stuck it here. DA Graphics (www.dagraphics.com) has released a set of Unlimited Hydroplane resin kits. Apparently they've just released them in the last few days. It's something different!!!
  5. Thanks everyone. I finally was able to get my hands on a belly tank & it seems that putting a flathead in it would be the best option.
  6. Which 1/25 to 1/24 kits or vendors have a flathead engine?
  7. I am interested but my wife & I are in the process of downsizing to a smaller house. I plan on building a belly tank but since my hobby room is all torn down I guess this will have to be for a future project. Does your tank come with a chassis & rear end? What is the cost? Sorry for taking so long to respond. Jim Wilshire
  8. Where can I find a 1:25 - 1:24 belly tanker?
  9. Does the maker of the belly tank car have a web site? I'd really like to have a kit of that.
  10. Where can I purchase the printer plate from? I've been looking for this item for a while but I can't seem to locate it for ordering.
  11. Tim, great work!!! I'm very impressed by what you've done. I'm in the process of building a brass dirt late model chassis & I was wondering what you use to keep your brass so clean & shiny. I use an acid flux & when I'm finished for the day I use Scrubbing Bubbles to clean away any excess flux. At that point, the chassis is nice & shiny but over the next few days it begins to dull.
  12. How do we go about ordering these parts?
  13. Thanks for the replies. I work at a government facility for the DOE so safety is always at the forefront so it's just second nature after working safely for over 20 years. Right now I'm looking at some Sherline machines but I've also got Micro Mark in the back of my mind. Thanks again. Jim
  14. To those who own mills & lathes, I'd like to pick your brain. I'll be making my last house payment in exactly one year & will be wanting to buy hobby mill & lathe. What machines would you recommend & what attachments should I get? Where could I order my stock? Could these be used in my hobby room or would I need to set them up some place else? I have a credenza that is against the back wall of my hobby room that they could set on. Also, are there any books or publications that I could get that would help me get an idea of what I would be doing on these machines? Thanks in advance for the information. Jim W. Amarillo, Texas
