Very nice job saving a great car you don't see much anymore. I have always admired the look of DeSotos. There used to be a junkyard not far from where I grew up that had a few variants. I wish I could've saved at least one, but I was just a kid at the time.

This is definitely a nice idea. I think this is an excellent design.

When you design objects, do you use the 1:1 dimensions then scale them down to whatever scale is needed, or do you use the dimensions for the scale of your choice?

Hello everybody. I am currently working on building the Lindberg 1938 Ford custom van (delivery) for my college instructor. I am currently studying Machine Tool Technology at my local Community college. My question is what kinds of graphics could I put on the model that would relate to machining?

I recently bought an Iwata ISF Fusion 1000 airbrush compressor from a pawn shop for $15. However, it didn't have a hose for it. Does anybody know what kind of hose I can use? Also, what kind of airbrush? I saw a hose at Harbor Freight, but the connector was too big for the fitting on the compressor.

Hello everybody, I was wondering what would be a good project to start with in Autodesk Fusion 360 to get into the world of designing model car/truck parts. This has always been an interest to me. As a student in a machining program at my local Community college, I was able to download the student/educational version of Fusion 360. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hello everybody, I'm wanting to build the Revell/Monogram Dodge Ram VTS into a pro street with a 440 or hemi. I was wondering if there are any good chassis to work with or if I should try to build my own. I've never built a chassis before, so I wouldn't know where to start. However, I do have some styrene strip I can use. I've seen some info on chassis building on the forum, but I'm still a bit confused. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hello everybody, this is my build of the 1977 Ford Pinto. I'm using the Coca Cola Pinto Popper kit. I'm thinking about building this as a road racing or rally car, but not 100 percent sure. Please feel free to leave comments, criticism, etc.

Right now I'm wondering what size tubing I would need for turbo plumbing. I also would like to know how to build an intercooler and turbo exhaust manifolds. I have a Dodge Ram VTS kit and would like to build a twin turbo 440 for it. I already have the turbos.

Hello everybody, I am still an amateur in the model building realm. Most of my builds are straight from the box with a little kit bashing occasionally. However I am wanting to become more advanced in my skills, especially for the types of builds I wish to complete. I was wondering what kinds of parts would be the easiest to learn to scratch build and the best types/sizes of styrene for these parts.

Hello everybody. I was wondering what would be a good source for a Dodge Magnum V8. I recently bought the Ram VTS kit, but I want to build it as a regular Ram 1500. I'm looking for a 318/360.

Hello everyone, I am wondering if there is a kit or conversion parts available for a 99-04 Mustang GT. I am thinking about buying one in 1:1 and thought it would be a good idea to build a model of how I would want the real one to be. I know they make the 99 SVT Cobra, but they are hard to find in my area, not to mention out of my price range. Also, the Cobra has the 4.6 DOHC instead of the SOHC.

Here is the kit I am working with. I don't have any more progress pics, but I finished the interior and was able to mount it to the chassis. I was having trouble getting the body to fit, so I decided to take a break from this kit for a bit.

Here is where I am at currently with the Supra. I have the chassis pretty much done, just need to assemble the wheels and get them on. The interior is almost done with the exception of a nitrous oxide tank. I put the front and rear bumpers on the body, as well as the glass.

Hello everybody. After a long hiatus, I now have more free time for building. I have for you today my 1995 Toyota Supra from AMT.

I decided to build a lowered 2WD pickup out of the GMC Big Game Hunter. I am using the chassis from the 1966 Suburban as I used the GMC chassis for a 4x4 Suburban. I am also using the Big Block Chevy from the AMT 1963 Corvette.

As a kid growing up in the 90s and early 2000s, I fondly remember many nice model kits that I wish I had the opportunity to build. Now it seems the manufacturers keep bringing out the same kits over and over again. At least Round 2 seems to be bringing out some kits from my childhood or even before my time. My question is this: is there a website that shows model kits released by year. Also, is there a good site I can look at for kits that are no longer in production. I know I can look at eBay, but I run the risk of either not finding what I'm looking for, or the price being a little too rich for my price range. Thank you for any help, and sorry for such a long post.

Thank you everyone for your input. I have decided not to build the truck as all out as I originally planned. However, the build will receive a twin turbo Duramax from Trailer Trash Kustoms and a set of custom wheels I found on Ebay.
