I still have this box in my garage....... I wont say what kind of old VHS tapes are currently kept in there. But I loved the car and could not get rid of the box when I sold the car. I have spent so much time at L.H. over the years.... I do miss it.

I do most of my purchases at Hobby Lobby now since its close to the house. Thats where I got the paint. The paint is Model Masters Pearl Yellow #2978. I actually bought 2 of these Camaro kits from H.L. One to build like I am with the big motor and the horribly ugly Foose wheels and one nice and stock looking. You have inspired me to spend much more time and care on the next one I build. This one I got pretty excited and kind of rushed a bit. I will post a pic later for you .... I am a little further along now.

N.W. Suburbs here also. Been going to Al's hobby shop since I was a kid. Raced RC cars for many years all around the midwest. I remember all of the old school local H.S. we used to have around these parts and miss all of them deeply.

I am looking for some good info on what glues are best for fast and clean drying. I have been using the same kind of glue since I first started and was thinking there must be something better out there then the old orange testers tube of glue. Please let me know what you guys think is best. Thanks

Hello, I have been a long time lurker but never made a account till today. I have been building models as long as I can remember. I watched my dad all through the 70's and 80's. I learned what I could from Dad but realized early that I do not have a steady hand, but that doesnt stop me. I stop building for a long time...and raced RC cars for quite a few years... but I have always come back to buildning models cars to make me happy. I admire many if not all of you that I have read about on this forum. Your creations and abilities are amazing. I like to look at all of my builds everyday, but I really don't share them with many. Even if I am not working on a model, I have to have one in house ready to go or I do not feel right. LOL!
