  1. This is it with some paint on it, rusted up a little. I be detailing it next. Thank you for looking...
  2. Here is a look at the Finn's car I will be doing this car in 1/8 scale this spring! The black car in the back ground is what inspired me for this build... From what I have learned these cars raced in New York state mostly, back in the fifties. At tracks like the Pines and Westboro. Very light for the day and very dangerous to drive... If your interrested there is a book by Lew Boyd called "Hot cars and Cool drivers" that tells the whole colorful story! Visit this Website There is great info and really good people there.
  3. This is what they called a Cutdown, back in the day... Narrowed frame, 1/4'rd body, scratch built roll bar and suspension parts and alot of parts box mix and match. It will be white and green.
  4. NICE!
  5. This is awsome, Raul. I love it! I have been looking at those resin motors few some time. I would really like to try one also. I want to put one in a Modified short tracker.
  6. This looks really nice! Why not put a quarter next to it and post a pic?
  7. Outstanding collection, great job! Nice pics too.
  8. From an era when they still looked store bought, I like the way it looks too! Nice job.

This one is from the slammer kit and a ASA Thunderbird kit. Mostly scatch built from the rails up. Styrene and a clear plastic spoon for the nose and hood. FRW Speed Equipment hubs, wheels and tires. Tamyia paint, Alclad wheels and exhaust. Thanks for looking!
  15. Every thing from the frame rails up, has been scratch built with styrene rod. The headers are soldier and styrene tubing. The hubs are one offs by FRW. Thanks for looking!
  16. This was a Evilbay Slammer kit, the body is really all I've used on this car. The chassis is part ASA Thunderbird and scratch building. The nose is scratch built from sheet and a clear plastic spoon. Wheels, hubs and carb are from FRW Speed Equipment (Fred's Resin Works)http://www.fredsresinworkshop.com/ The paint is Tamiya. The bumpers and nerf bars are scratch built. Thanks for looking!
  17. Welcome! Nice mobile diggs too, I can see that behind a big winged Caddy for sure

  20. Look'n nice.......
  21. OH NOOOOO! I already cut it off and started over............ Not really, I agree though. I did all the diferent ways at mock up. This way really does look the best. It is the roof off of a GTO SuperStocker (AMT) kit. The rims are from Hoppin' Hydro's Slim 20's, #526 Vortex with Pegasus disc brakes #1095. And with the body mods the just do fit. Lots of modification to the interior tub to make'em work. Not sure about colors yet, I want to get the fab work done and then decide. Must be dark, maybe two tone. Any thoughts?
  22. Almost done with this one....
  23. Looks good, but if ya really want the vintage look, I'd short'n up that tank some, kinda like a stock peanut tank! Just a thought it's your build... I like the frame work!
  24. Look'n good so far! Nice job.
