The paint ended up semi gloss. So it will be a Jag which sat in the sun a lot.

When I was a kid I collected car tokens in Jell-o boxes and potato chip bags. the Xke had struck me as absulotely beautiful. Later, my mom bought me the 1/8 for christmas. it has been a favourite since the. several years ago I built a roadster. Now is time for the coupe.

The body comes from Jimmy Flintstone and the hauler from the AMT kit.

Since everything is in a different location added spacers to the stacks and mounted them.

Hope I wont get ostracized for the colour choice. Started adding glass and details to the cab.

Home made interior to haul the entire crew. The exhaust system is in place. They will come up between the cab and the transporter body.

Cobbled up a rad and closed the tire rack area.

Carl, I will lengten the pice ahead of the muffler so that the turnout is behind the cab. then I'll install the chrome stacks there. At least that is the plan.

Now I have to do thye same to the exhaust pipes to bring them to the rear of the cab.

Because we had to set the rear axle back on account of the longer cab, I had to adjust the drivehafts accordingly using the straw sleeve method. Once painted, it look not too bad.
