  1. Thanks. The next attempt wiull be airbrush warpaint over Tamiya primer.
  2. Turns out the oven cleaner didn't work. So I sanded, and danded, and sanded.....and reprimed. If it doesn't work this time, I quit.

  10. Absolutely, this and the XKEs have been my long time favourites.
  11. There it is, warts and all... This would likely look at home with a songle axle trailer with a round front.
  12. Added a rear crossmember to hang the teilights on. I might beef it up and add a pintle hook. Added fifth Wheel anddrive shaft.
  13. Made some headlight bezels out of bright wire. Working on glass. I wish I could find an equivalent to the old testor's canopy glue.
  14. I know, I know, the wheels are of a different diameter and it isn't a dragster. I am in a "use what you have" mode. Added an extension to the das in order fot it to reach the base of the windshield.
  15. In the purple bath to get rid of the mold release agent.
  16. After much fiddling to make the body , the engine, the interior and the front axle jive it was decided that it will be cubside and that the 216 will return to its spot in the collection.
