Turns out the oven cleaner didn't work. So I sanded, and danded, and sanded.....and reprimed. If it doesn't work this time, I quit.

Added a rear crossmember to hang the teilights on. I might beef it up and add a pintle hook. Added fifth Wheel anddrive shaft. -

Made some headlight bezels out of bright wire. Working on glass. I wish I could find an equivalent to the old testor's canopy glue. -

I know, I know, the wheels are of a different diameter and it isn't a dragster. I am in a "use what you have" mode. Added an extension to the das in order fot it to reach the base of the windshield. -

After much fiddling to make the body , the engine, the interior and the front axle jive it was decided that it will be cubside and that the 216 will return to its spot in the collection. -
