  1. Decals and clear have been applied. I may finish this this year yet.
  2. I think the gold stripes would be good. What do you guys think?
  3. replaced the smudged kit windows with high falutin' ones cut from a blister pack .
  4. Thanks Trevor, but don't tell anyone it is a 1956 color. The purists might cringe. Well, at least it is a Ford color.?
  5. And we have paint.
  6. I use an ordinary Pilot Silver marker.
  7. There, it looks like the steering whhel didn't get its brown wash. Ah, the golden years....
  8. Working on the interior. A few more touchups to the touchups and we should be good.
  9. Chassis work.
  10. Glad you enjoyed it.
  11. Yup.
  12. Working on the engine.
  13. 1951 Chevrolet Bel Air. Mods include, Corvette C5R engine, rool cage, bucket seats, nascar fuel cell and modern wheels from the parts bin.
  14. Painting with the chrome pen.
  15. The car is back from the glaziers. They managed to put a smudge in one of the quarter windows. Good spot for a decal.
  16. They likely are. However have to use them on account of the upholstery.
  17. Ha,Ha! Be cause I never saw it.
  18. Mine was a Gremlin X. I remember that. I found another picture where thre is a hint of white but again, not definite. So if it is not feasible, don't worry.
  19. We have paint. Completed the interior. I managed the brass buttons but did not attempt the stitching. I had installed a Hurst shifter in mine since the original was a rattler. I used a spare part and some quarter round.
  20. It is likely too far forward. I did a bit of carving in the rear and it looks better.
  21. The whelbase of the kit is wrong for the resin body, so I'll have to alter it somehow. The rear appears easier at first glance.
  22. The chrome bumpers from the '75 kit do not fit the resin '73. Only having the clearcoat part of The Spaz Stik left I used Duplicolor primer, two fifferent gloss blacks and Duplicolor Chrome. Both turned our ok until I applied the Spas Stix clearcoat. they are obviously not compatible. I just might do it without clear.
  23. Actually John, on lythe rear window opened . there was a twist handle just below it.
  24. The gremlin logo is on the gas cap. Quite neatly molded too.
