    Started this morning. That is a nicely detailed engine. Would make a neat dio item.

    I decided to give it a second chance. Since I have to glue everything together to get it straight , I removed the engine and put it in the engine case. It goes together only with much persuasion so it'll be a "barn find" at best. Also I seem to have loist the grille, so I'll have to improvise.

    I thought I had the plans but all I have is the parts book which would go a long ways in replicationg the various components. However, I'd have to get actual dimensions in order to scale everything accurately.

    It was a Tamyia paint. can't tell which from the ohoto.

    Thanks David. I can't recall what color I used. Likely a Tamyia blue/gray military color. I had a quick look through my paints but could not find anything that looks like it.
