Ha,Ha! Be cause I never saw it.

Mine was a Gremlin X. I remember that. I found another picture where thre is a hint of white but again, not definite. So if it is not feasible, don't worry.

We have paint. Completed the interior. I managed the brass buttons but did not attempt the stitching. I had installed a Hurst shifter in mine since the original was a rattler. I used a spare part and some quarter round.

The whelbase of the kit is wrong for the resin body, so I'll have to alter it somehow. The rear appears easier at first glance.
-
The chrome bumpers from the '75 kit do not fit the resin '73. Only having the clearcoat part of The Spaz Stik left I used Duplicolor primer, two fifferent gloss blacks and Duplicolor Chrome. Both turned our ok until I applied the Spas Stix clearcoat. they are obviously not compatible. I just might do it without clear.

Actually John, on lythe rear window opened . there was a twist handle just below it.

The gremlin logo is on the gas cap. Quite neatly molded too.

The round thing is the gas cap. The keyhole was in the handle above it.

The car is gone too. Sold it about 4 years ago.

John, here's something my photoshop cousin did with a photo of the '34 Chevy that once belonged to my dad and that I restored after picking it up from what had been my grandfather's farm My dad died in 1954 when I was about 3 years old.She put both of us in it. His picture was taken in 1942. Mine was taken in 2015 or so. I am 40 years older than him.

Here's what I propose to use. The dark blue for the denim, one of the other two for the dash, seatbacks, etc...

There are two more threads of engines, in case you are interesred. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/134213-orphaned-makes-european-and-asian-engines-by-ftb/ http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/134226-racing-hot-rod-truck-and-aircraft-engines-by-ftb/

That is one of the differences, but the grille is the one which stand out the most. I'm not sure what issues your relative had but mine was dead reliable. The worst feature was its skittishness on icy roads, no weight on the rear combined with lots of power.

There are a few: p.3 Model T, p.4 Model B, p.6 1937 V8, p.8 Lincoln V12, p.9 Model A. I imagine that is what you meant.

My first car was a 1973 Gremlin X with the 304 and the Levi's interior. I am going to attempt replicating it using the AMT '75 kit with Flintstone a resin '72-'73 body.My cousin with the photoshop skills has converted an internet image with red stripes to one with gold stripes. Now we have to figure out how to do the the mirror image to do the other side of the car.

That looks like a nice area you live in. Gorgeous background. -
1951 Chevrolet Bel Air with C5R Corvette engine. Should be subtle enough not to attract too much attention yet able to scoot and maintain speed when required. In the shop and at the photoshoot in the old warehouse.
