Thanks! I did a tow stage paint job using Duplicolor silver I had sitting around from a 88 Ford Ranger then cleared, wet sanded, and compounded the body. The pics do not do the paint justice.

It took me forever with this since I work so much at work and at home but its finally done and I am looking forward to my next build. Next up is the MPC 79 1/16 Trans/Am. Thanks for looking!

Thanks for your compliments, I am very happy with how it is turning out, The big three all turned out great muscle car updates, however the redo of the Camaro and Mustang were right on the money when they first redid them, now they are just getting out there as far as styling goes, the Challenger is still looking great yet in my opinion though.

Ok I'm done for the day, got a lot of little detailing bits to do yet but I'm on my way, I'm so happy with how the the paint turned out I never dreamed it could turn out so good, thanks again for all your tips I've used.

It's silver, 1988 Ford Ranger silver to be exact, 3 coats and 2 coats of Rustoleum acrylic laquer.

I know this Snapper doesn't have much detail but trying to make this as nice as possible, so a little extra detail here at the wheels. A couple shots with the body setting on the chassis

Thanks guys, I wet sanded starting with 3200 and finished up with 12000 then some polishing compound, the pics don't do it justice.

My body is done and I wanna thank all of you here for all of the great info that I've read over the last year or so.

These new sharpies work really well, just be sure to clean with alchohol first and if possible you can scuff the area lightly with a scotchbrite pad.

Ok I got my basecoat laid down, gonna let this dry a day or two then wet sand lightly and shoot with two coats of clear. I'm hoping this will look like Danno's first Camaro on Hawaii 5-O.

Ok it's been a looooong time but I finally got back to work on this, got a couple coats of primer on this and scuffed and ready for paint.
