Hey guys, this is my holiday project. been cleaning up the 2 door conversion lines. debadged the grill. used the original slats, just carefully carved the badge out.....yes i know its easier just to replace them. anyways got some filler work to do still as you can see from the pix. i also started the 337 front spoiler. your thoughts and ideas appreciated.

Been busy with the front bottom spoiler. the duckbill that comes with the kit is a cl/gl one. the mk1 GTi came with a much broader version of this duckbill. so heres mine. let me know what you guys think. hey any of you interested in a limited edition Pirrelli baby mk1 golf transkit? lol i have a few extra's left when i casted them.

ok my interior is almost complete. going for a stock mk1 GTI campaign interior, so nothing spectacular. just the resin center console and some home made decals. still need to add some bits here and there.

Hey Steve, it looks exactly the same.

started on the engine, trashed the 8v its a 16v now, and because its an old school car i decided to dump the injection and go with a set of weber sidedrafts. still lots of work to be done still so dont flame me yet for the ###### work. also lots of scratch build stuff here. the oil cap is machined alloy.

thanx guys no real update, just some pics with the ATS classic wheels

decided to change the color of the interior after the teledials did'nt work out. tried to do a bit of a textured leather and alcantara look. didn't come out completely the way i wanted to but im not in the mood for changing it again, i have already lost interest in this build. the parts is just horrible when it comes to fitting. maybe its just my kit. not complete yet but heres a little teaser pic of the interior

some more progress, well a tiny bit. painted the rims, i think im going to stick with the p-slots.inserts are painted black. grill and bumper is on.

starting a new build, heres a teaser and quick mockup of the new rims

did the window frames, and heres a mock up with the creamy wheels also started on the interior porsche tombstone seats up front the teledials looked a little too big so...... quick mock up of the new rims, its aoshima BBS RS with stretch tyres
