Perfect! Thank you very much!

Thanks, i'll check them out! Was trying to avoid buying another kit just for the wheels and tires but that may be the route I go. Thanks for the pictures!

I'm building a 2010 Mustang Gt and trying to build it into a drag car and I'm having a really hard time finding a wheel/tire combo that is what I'm looking for. Whenever I find wheels they are all older style gasser wheels or torq thrusts. I'm trying to find a more modern drag wheel, like something weld would produce. Not looking to make it into a pro mod car, unless those are the wheels I need to buy and slim down a bit, but even that I cant seem to find anything that is more of the modern drag wheel style. Can anyone help point me in a good direction? Thanks, Dustin

thamks, good point about the chassis contours. I'm thinking the easiest way to achieve a rear seat delete would be to shave off the head rests. Then glue sheet styrene over the seats instead of cutting them out. Im planning on running the 5.0 it came with but adding a twin turbo kit onto it

Where do you get your wheels and tires from? I've been searching for some but I want a more modern style wheel and all the ones I find are old school designs -
Almost zero room between seat and door panel, had to tweak the door bar in there and it's slightly crooked but I don't think it will be too noticeable in the final product

Just started this kit, it's a 2014 mustang I'll be building into a drag car. So far I've just started the cage and it's already proving to be pretty challenging. I'd like to do a rear seat delete but I think it's going to be rather difficult to cut the rear seats out of the tub. Any tips or advice is much appreciated!

Thanks, that was definitely the most challenging part of this build

just a quick build, not a whole lot of detail. Came out pretty decent, just wished it was a bit lower and some different wheels. On to the pics! Any constructive crticism is welcomed!

your builds are absolutely phenomenal. I absolutely love the fox body, all the drag cars are especially beautiful, but I have a soft spot for mustangs lol Is there a build thread for any of your drag cars?

Love that f100! That would be such an awesome truck to have in real life

I painted the grey on and the red stripe

Alameda, CA.... half a year at sea.... you must be a coastie lol I'm at Airsta Clearwater. Great looking builds! I also built the foose coronet this year, getting that ride height just right was a bit tough but yours looks great!
-
Sorry, I need to update that, I live in Clearwater now. thanks for the info! I will try to make that November meeting. What goes on at the hobby lobby meets?
-
Thanks! Hey, your not too far from me. Can you PM me some info on the FAST club you are a part of ?

Thanks everyone, and sorry, this one is just a curbside, I wanted to keep the engine to throw in a hot rod.

Finished up my Foose Coronet. Tried to really take my time on this one. I was my first time doing a black wash on the panel lines and the grill. Let me know what you think!

Awesome looking build! I have a couple quick questions if you don't mind, where do you get your braided lines and AN fittings? and how do you get the exhaust to have that goldish hue in some areas like it has been hot. Thanks, Dustin -
Thanks, yeah I'll probably just have to bight the bullet and save up for one. My dad had a 68 galaxie 500 xl as his first car and I've always wanted to make a replica of it for him. Yours is coming along really nice, I think the firewall looks better in body color too, keep up the build and thanks for the pics! you have made some beautiful looking galaxies!

ive been searching for one of these kits like crazy! where did you find yours? I see them on ebay occasionally but they want like $300 bucks for them and quite frankly, I just cant justify that.
-
the nsx kit is pretty nice, only let down was there is no engine, and the blue and white are paint, they give you the grey stripes that are a decal but you have to estimate where the line is at when you are painting, if you look closely you can see the white above the grey lines on the front fender where I messed up.... I put a blue decal over it to make it less obvious lol

here are my builds from 2015, I had just started building again after taking a 7 year break from modeling, and 7 years ago I wasn't very good and just building for fun, I'm working on honing my skills and creating more realistic and detailed models. I think my best one so far has been a 68 dodge charger, however I gave it to my dad and I don't have any pictures from when I built it. But heres what I build so far: The NSX I still need to finish

Well I got the interior in, chassis on, and wheels on. Took some grinding but overall I like the stance. I wish I had more time, this would have been a great kit to really detail but I'm moving to NC this weekend so it was just a matter of trying to get it done before the move. Still have to make some bumpers and put in the taillights, not sure if the bumpers will get done or not, if they do they will be rushed and look like BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH lol
-
Awesome build! How do you get that look on the exhaust to make it so realistic? I've tried that a few times and I can never get it to turn out very well at all. Yours looks awesome!

I don't post on here much but I've been working on a 1968 Shelby GT500 kit that I thought I would share. I've attached a pic of the body after I painted it, no clear on it yet but I think its turning out okay. I left the front and rear bumpers on the coffee table and the dog decided to chew on them so they are pretty much demolished. I thought that perhaps I would build a front and rear bumper that would give it a road race/ pro touring design, so it has started to move towards that route. Its really my first time scratch building bumpers so I'm sure i'll be posting questions about that soon and if anyone can post some similar style bumpers they've made for some inspiration I'd appreciate it! I will get some more pictures tomorrow!
