  1. Yes, I know that since the early 1960s narrow whitewall tires were usual. But I only had this set of ww-tires in my spare parts box.
  2. Thank You very much! Don: The background is a photo of a 1960s parking lot outside a restaurant which I found on the internet. Ludwig
  3. Like the last build I showed here in December 2020, this 66 Galaxie is a model, that had been sitting in a box for a couple of years. After adding some missing parts and a new set of ww-tires it is ready to be on display on my shelf. Color is "Tropical Turquoise".
  4. Mark, the paint on the 67 Olds is "Turquoise" by Model Master (spray can). As far as I remember, the dog dish caps came with the kit. If You want to see additional photos of the models, You can find them here in this forum. Regards Ludwig

  7. This a model I built about ten years ago. It has been stored - dismantled - in a box for some time. I decided to put it together again, adding some parts which had been lost.
  8. Thank You guys! Ludwig
  9. This is my 1963 Chevrolet Impala Super Sport, powered by a 327 ci V8. Exterior and interior color is simply black. No changes, built oob.
  10. Good looking Pontiac! Which Tamiya-Color is it? Regards Ludwig
  11. Thanks guys!
  12. Thank You very much for Your comments! Mike: Paint is Tamiya "Metallic Green" (spray). Ludwig
  13. Thank You very much, everybody!
  14. Oh no ... I had to pay so much attention to the detailing of this kit that I obviously forgot some of the technical "basics". I will have to install that hose, otherwise I can't take the car on a Friday night cruise :-) The hoses and connectors came with the kit.
  15. Thank You very much guys!
  16. After finishing my latest build, a 58 Plymouth Belvedere, I cut off the tail fins of an old "Christine", I built years ago. After removing the trunk lid I installed the front bench seat of the kit.
  17. Thank You for Your Kind words!
  18. Thank You, guys! Maybe the "brass look" came from the quality of the light, when the fotos were taken yesterday afternoon. In fact, only the center section of the hubcaps were painted gold, refering to the side moldings and the grill.
  19. Thank You!
  20. AMT's "Christine"-Kit built in a different way: 1958 Plymouth Belvedere in "Buckskin Beige" - definitely not "Christine"...
  21. Thanks everybody! Yes, it was the "scoth brite treatment" which gave the tires the correct look of rubber.
  22. Thank You very much! John: It was a little bit difficult to paint and detail the interior panels since the seats are already molded in the tub. Ludwig
