  1. Another model car of my Jo Han "collection" is this 1962 Plymouth Fury convertible. The styling is not so outstanding as that of the 1962 Dodge Dart, but also very unique. Enjoy!
  2. Thanks for all the positive comments! @ Bruce: the garage door and the pavement are super sized photographs glued onto cardboard. "Ugly" or "beautiful" - I find the early 1960s Mopars in any case very interesting, since the styling of those days marks the time of change when the typical 50s styling was fading out and the straight lines of the typical 60s car body shapes had not arrived yet. Ludwig
  3. Thank You very much! It really was not easy getting the BMF correctly done on the special Body shape of the Dart. @ Mike_G: I gave a very thin black washing with a very thin brush to that litte circle which separates the headlight from the surrounding bezel. Ludwig
  4. The 1962 Dodge Dart 440 is another build of my Jo Han collection. I built the kit already four years ago. I still remember when Jo Han kits were on sale in hobby shops here in Germany in the late 1970s. Today they are hard to get here and in most cases they are expensive too if You find one!
  5. Thank You guys for Your positive feedback to my 66 Olds Toronado!
  6. Very nice build! I built a 64 GTO last year and used the stock wheels, but Your car looks great with those modern wheels. Pretty cool also how nice that Corvette Motor fits under the hood of the "goat".
  7. Since it seems to me that there are quite a lot of forum members who love the old Jo Han kits, I show another built Jo Han kit of the "USA Oldies" series by Jo Han: 1962 Oldsmobile Cutlass F 85.
  8. Another old model kit - by Jo Han - from the 1960s: 66 Olds Toronado I built last summer.
  9. Looks great, especially the black-red combo fits that vette perfectly!
  10. Hello and thanks to all of You for this cordial reception! I am looking forward to showing some of the model cars I have already built during the last months and of course every model I am going to build in future. Ludwig
  11. Thank You very much for Your positive statements to the first of my builds I presented as a new member of this model car forum. More of my builds will be coming up soon!
  12. I bought this old Matchbox/AMT-kit from 1979 a couple of weeks ago. Since the hood sank in between the front fenders when closed, i decided to glue it to the fenders to make sure it stays in place.
  13. Hi, my name is Ludwig. I am 57 years old and I have been building plastic model kits of American cars for a couple of years. Since I live in a town which hosts an installation of the US Army, I was always fascinated by the powerful American Cars, their size, the looks, everything was so cool with those cars. Because I could not afford to own a real American car in the 1970s, I started building model cars. Now I own a 1962 Ford Galaxie 500 (already since 15 years) and a 2011 Ford Mustang GT 5.0. V8 rules! Ludwig
