  1. I think Just saw the skelly tanker in st. Ignace last weekend. Good looking Michigan setup
  2. I love the Michigan trains. I can't wait to make a setup just like that
  3. Saw this a few days ago. Nice to see it still at work
  4. I love seeing old pics. We should start a new topic just for those.
  5. Thanks everyone for your help. Nice to see both instruction sheets Anthony. Terry, I've been watching your California hauler build and I remember the angled tailgate you did and it looked great. How did you go about doing that and what did you use to make the cut?
  6. That's pretty much what I'm going for. I may just have to use a diamond reo to pull it too.
  7. Just curious if anyone has built a set of Michigan gravel trains. Hopefully when the mpc dump trailer is released this summer i can get started. I'm going to buy 3 Trailers to make an 8 axle set up. Tri axle lead, tandem dolly, and a tri axle pup. Wondering if anyone has done this or has any tips. Thanks
  8. Very cool chuck! That would look great with a 6 or 8 axle tanker like a lot of trucks around here. Just sayin!
  9. Nice to see good fuel economy but at the same time I'd rather pay for fuel than drive a Prius. The price of cool ain't cheap!
  10. Welcome from Shepherd Michigan
  11. Very nice job I like everything about this truck. I really like the exhaust it says Detroit right off the bat.
  12. If I was to use the 50's autocar hood conversion on the diamond reo kit or any of the autocar cab models what would be my options for fenders? Has anyone done this and if so what did you use? I'm looking to eventually build this truck
  13. Wow it doesn't get a whole lot better than that Autocar. I wish trucks still looked like that.
  14. Hey a Scotland tanker! Alma Michigan They're about ten miles from me
  15. I'm curious to see what you're going to do with the grill. Very nice built really impressive.
  16. Yea I wish I could've got a better pic (without the focus). I did stay to watch it leave town. Sure sounded healthy! Lots of old gems hiding out there still.
  17. I saw this danger dodge at an elevator a few weeks ago. Looked to be rough but was still neat. Isn't one you're going to see very often
  18. Thanks everyone!
  19. Believe it or not that truck would handle like a dream in town. Just can't forget to lift your axles and drag some expensive rubber.
  20. This truck is seen frequently in the thumb of Michigan. Makes me jealous every time I see it.
  21. Hi my name is Keegan and I'm a complete rookie when it comes to modeling. I've always been an antique truck enthusiast and this allows me to build one the way I like them. I stumbled upon this website and was very impressed with how helpful and friendly everyone was on these forums. I recently built the re- issue AMT California hauler and managed not to pull out all of my hair so I figured I'd join up and get some future help from the posters. Looking froward to it!
