  1. Can anyone tell me the overall width of the Aoshima single cam long bed Hilux kits? I was asked to design a pusher bar for a rock crawler model, (he doesn't have the kit yet) and I can't seem to find the finished model dimensions (I suspect the dims I'm finding are the box) Thanks!!
  2. That looks pretty good to me. I hope others would want the option as well!!!
  3. I'd be happy with a lower profile version of your existing "drive tire 3" or the "heavy duty" one.
  4. Are there any other 22.5" low profile tires out there besides the ones KJ (Double Take) offers? I have a set of his and I think I want a more aggressive tread. TIA!!
  5. Guys, I have them uploaded here: https://www.shapeways.com/shops/downrangeproductions1-35th-scale?section=Bumpers&s=0 If there's other versions, or mods made to them feel free to let me know. If you want more than 1 set, I can combine them and save you a minimum of $5 per set after the first one, when I load them into a single file (note filesize limitations apply as to how much I can combine)
  6. I have them done: I'm waiting on a test print to double check the mounting fit. http://shpws.me/MrTP I can create a set with more than 1 set in it to save you $$ if you want multiple. Thanks!
  7. I'm working on some for the MENG kit. That style will be the next one I'm working on.
  8. Stuff's on hold for a bit guys. I went into the Hospital with some Back pain, and they kept me for Cardiac observation, as I passed out in the ER.... the over night stay found nothing cardiac related (all labs and EKG's were clear of anything) but because of the pain, the stress test they want to do isn't scheduled for 2 weeks. The wife is paranoid, and making me take it easy, and not go into work early, or stay late. I'll hopefully get back on them once all the BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH tests they wanna do are done, and they don't find anything. In the mean time, I see a Chiropractor after work today (which is what the ER nurse initially thought I needed). Thanks, Matt
  9. I wonder if 2 or 4 door, non "wagon' versions will follow???
  10. It happens. I appreciate it!!!
  11. For sure. I'm still waiitng for someone to "loan" me the 1/24 scale bumpers, to get thew mounting points to work with the kit. (as I'm not sure they scale directly from 1/35)
  12. Mike, I really appreciate it!!! Matt
  13. All, I haven't ordered any of them for myself to verify the fit, But I've measured & remeasured & printed on paper to mock them up. I have 4 different "sets" available in 1/35 scale: 2 "Plate" Bumper options http://shpws.me/M0kC http://shpws.me/M0mA 2 "Pipe" bumper options. http://shpws.me/M0mB http:// http://shpws.me/M0kt I'm awaiting a "loan' of the 1/24 scale bumpers to verify them. Thanks!
  14. All,I've finally started working on some "Aftermarket" bumpers for the Meng F-350 kits. I don't want to take the (full) kit to work, and can't take the CAD software home, so I wind up doing paper mockups to confirm Form/Fit/Function. I'm not sure if I'll add brushguards, or make them separate yet. I'll probably do a few rear bumpers as well. I'm working to the 1/35 version, and do have minimal measurements for the 1/24 one, but could use some measurements to/of the mounting pins on the 1/24 version. Here's a preview of the 3 I have started so far: http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h23/mdlbldrmatt135/misc 3d stuff/bumper_asst.jpg
  15. After a request from another member here, I did up 3 different wheels, (each in 3 different sizes) Wheels are sized to fit Clearly Scale's BFG gForce KDW tires. The hub has a .06" dia hole, separate center cap, and there's grooves ever .5mm starting at the center, to allow you to customize the offset. Style "A" http://shpws.me/LXeJ http://shpws.me/LXeK http://shpws.me/LXeL Style "B" http://shpws.me/LXeF http://shpws.me/LXeE http://shpws.me/LXeI Style "C" http://shpws.me/LXeD http://shpws.me/LXeG http://shpws.me/LXeH

  17. That thought actually crossed my mind the other night!! Set without mount, but including shackles. http://shpws.me/LTlT I'll upload other options in the next couple of days. Work has had me busy!!
  18. A set of 40 is now available. http://shpws.me/LPlu Hopefully I'll get time today to do a set with these and some chain binders to save you guys some $$
  19. Would a set of say 40 be enough??? I'm alos going to put together a set, with these and the load binders.
  20. This style? https://www.etrailer.com/Trailer-Cargo-Control/Curt/J-705.html
  21. And I'm always open to suggestions! I do have a slight backlog ot the moment... but ideas are always welcome!
  22. Some new stuff available in my Shapeways store: (These I did order for myself and have the pics below as well, although I wasn't the first person to order the small shackle set) Hooks: Grab and slip hooks 1/24 scale 1/35 scale Pic of hooks Shackles: Large medium small all 3 sets PIcs: large off the sprue Medium on sprue Small
  23. Tom, I have an album of some of the large trailers..... link is in this thread I started some time ago: http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/98015-big-loads-some-pics/
  24. another option would be tulle in the fabric store.
  25. 1/24 is .0416667 so 100" = 4.16667" 1/25 is .04 so 100" = 4.000" not really noticeable till you get to longer lengths.
