  1. Theres a show in Cincy next sunday. https://www.facebook.com/events/167648180006307/
  2. Started on this beast last night. I originally had planned on putting a mid engine Indy car engine setup in it, but i've decided to go with a custom built supercharged LS4 and Tremec 6 speed. The engine dyno'd out at 1300 horses. I've also decided to jump in the deep end and do my first opening doors model. I have an idea that will keep the cops away. Hopefully Buford T Justice can dodge lead! Here's a few in progress picks.
  3. I worked in Jasper for a few years. Had a few co-workers that lived in Tell City
  4. Just found this thread and would like to get in. Chevy Van with a few different engine options in mind.
  5. Welcome aboard! What part of Southern In?
  6. Thanks Craig! I just joined the faceboook group as well. What time do you guys meet? Also, is that the Bill Collins on Bardstown Road?
  7. Dixie Highway. There tore down Dixie Dozen theater's and built Hobby Lobby. It's in Dixie Manor, across the street from Home Depot.
  8. I only deal with Brian. I raced r/c there until they tore the track down. I had a major issue with the people at HobbyTown. I went there to pick up a certain speed control for my rc car. While there I helped a guy troubleshoot a problem on his. Owner flipped out and advised me to never come back. They are building a hobby Lobby about 2 miles from me. It will be open March 1st.
  9. I found them on Facebook, but haven't been approved yet. It's a little tough trying to find model stuff. Only 2 places in town, and they're about 25 miles from me.
  10. Interior finished. It's not the greatest, but not bad for the first time back. I wish i could steady my hands a little better.
  11. It's going to be White exterior and red interior. The same as my father's 68. This is the only picture I have of it.
  12. I got a lot of parts painted today. Finished wiring the engine, with the help of some youtube video's. I also finished the interior. I'm going to attempt to run brake line's, radiator hoses, fuel lines, and battery cables. I'm still amazed how much has changed. I've spent a few hours looking around and on the net. Man, they make everything known to man now. All you need is money and time!
  13. I just recently got back into building models after many years away. My how things have changed. I decided I would build a model of my father's 68 Roadrunner. I also decided I would trick it out as much as I could. I was shocked to find ditributors, wires, battery cables, and tons of other stuff that is readily available. So here's a few pictures i'm starting with. Thanks for looking.
  14. I recently started building model cars again. It's been 15-20 years since I built my last. Times surely have changed. There seem to be lots of cool stuff out there now. I look forward to searching the site and maybe showing a car or two when I get one finished. Thanks again Ernie B.
