  1. Fantastic, I love the clear blue windshield, how was that applied, aerosol or airbrush? Did you Future Klear afterwards? Keep warm, it looks grim over there.
  2. Hi everyone, my first post, hope you like it. The now hard to find Esci Mercedes 190e, a challenging kit to say the least. I wanted to depict the 1989-92 version with 8 hole alloys & "Sacco" panelling. This required the purchase of a Tamiya S500, which, as I was revealing the engine bay, yielded a slam panel & detailed engine bay items, along with the wheels & correct mirrors. The difficulty was the kit had been sat on or had been subjected to heat, the body was badly warped. It became a labour of love, spending far too many hours as you all will have experienced. Anyhow, here she is, also pictured with a Revell A Class, I made in 1999. Thanks for looking.
  3. Hello everyone, firstly congratulations on a great site. I have been modelling since my Mum bought me an Airfix Churchill tank in 1968. Mum tried to help me build it with flour & water, not realising a tube of glue was required. I've improved since then & still love the therapeutic nature of our wonderful hobby. I will post some recent builds & hope people like them. Attached is a Hasegawa VW van, in the livery of my small but proud enterprise. Keep up the great work. Johnny Mac.
