  1. Looking good there, things are moving right along, have you begun the motor on this? I could imagine a lot of retro going on in it. The green great on this car too.
  2. Very nice work for a quick build, we shouldn't even trick ourself into saying quick build. Im loving the wheels and brake combo you used. Good story about neighborhood kids.
  3. Thanks everyone for the support on this project, progress is a bit slow as this is my first attemt at a fully detailed car/motor. I got the plug wires in and also added a lower radiator hose(scratch) . Next I mounted the battery in the trunk along with hold down and carpet. The trunk needed some finishing so i added a thin strip of plastic between the tail lights. Pics of the spare block and heads with the motor stand. The tires were sanded down to get rid of the shine and I drilled out the wheels for a bit of realism. Not sure if i have pic of the wheels though. Once again let me know what you think & if you have tips or critsism feel free. Sorry about the poor quality pictures, I snapped these on the way out the door today so I could make this post lol.
  4. That kit always catches my eye, i'm glad it worked out for you. The brakes look really cool on this one.
  5. Real nice job on the wires, im also in the processes of doing my first wire job on a v8, your thead has a lot of good refrences to go from. Thanks its looking awesome and its cool of you to build one for your local shop.
  6. So last night, instead of ordering a distributor and waiting for delivery, I decidedto make a one along with a few other scratch built goodies. Progress is slow but after seeing the builds on this forum i've decided to take my time and do it right. Any tips on doing window trim would also be helpful at this point, thanks On to the parts, first I set the body to get a neak peek and was not disappointed, that gave me the drive to knock out some stuff. First I made a distributor from scratch then ignition box along with fuel pressure regulator or splitter. Once that was done I did an interstate make over to the battery and also wired up the starter. Plus a shot of the motor as it sits now. Next project: fuel cell... lol. I'll have an update on the Integra build soon, the nova has my attention at the moment. Thanks for looking. Comments and tips welcome.
  7. I was looking forward to this one but i didnt realize it was 1/32 scale... oh well, looks good, nice work.
  8. Looking good, lets see how much you get done with a week off, good luck.
  9. Looks nice with factory color paint and two barrel carb on the motor. Good base model camaro.
  10. thanks, I really want to finish these up as soon as the paint cures. More to come!
  11. These are a few builds that ive had going for a about a month. Once got the Nova sittin low I focused on the Integra. Ive got a four door in the driveway so ive been going a little crazy on the details. Now they are about 80%, painted cleared and waiting for assembly. Any criticism of tips are welcome, let me know what you think. Thanks
  12. Hey everyone, i've recently gotten back into the hobby with a foose 68 firebird. I picked it up to build along side my five year old son, little did I know I would soon be an addict again, i couldn't be more happy. It didnt come out the greatest but it did get me going and now after a few months ive got two finished two works in progress(both 80%) and a nice stack of future build in my closet. Thanks and stay posted for more updates.
