  1. Scott, you are right about the deals, the last time I went I took my wife and just from one table she got the 3 Beetle kits and the Jag in this picture all for $30.00 and they were all complete!!! Also, do you have the dates for this years shows there and do you know of any others in the St. Louis area?
  2. I haven't built a T since I was a teenager many, many moons ago (LOL). If fact, it is the same kit I started on a couple of months ago before I had to move. I don't have much to show at the moment other than some painted parts but once I finish the 32 Vickie I'm working on (hopefully tomorrow) I will start a WIP on the Golden T.
  3. Hey Jeff, welcome to the forum.
  4. Nice, I like the little custom touches to the cab interior.
  5. Welcome to the forum. A 1968 Charger, I'll be watching that one as I own a 1/1 and is one of my favorite muscle cars.
  6. Welcome Scotty. St. Louis you say, well I'm just west of Effingham, IL along I-70 and go through St. Louis at twice a year for the model show/swapmeet in Kirkwood, MO. Maybe we will cross pathes there in May.
  7. Now this is different and really eye catching, nice work.
  8. Nice work replicating the Lil Red and that custom at the end of you post is very cool.
  9. Love the color Kenny but I think those huge meats in the back are going to give it away LOL.
  10. Look at the shine on that car, nice work.
  11. Now that is going to look tough. Where did the resin piece come from?
  12. The work you are doing with brass is just unreal.
  13. Somebody really like 32 rods, nice job on all of them.
  14. I like it. What color did you end up using on it?
  15. Very nice work. Now just add a bit of a black wash to them to give them a slightly used look.
  16. Man, the first time I seen pics of this from a few friends that went to GSL I have been wanting to see more of it, this is one awesome build and is something not very many people can do. Great work and hope to see more of your builds soon.
  17. Another nice build. I really like the effect you got from the white pearl over the green.
  18. Nice looking Camaro, I really like the these old muscle cars with the wider, low profile tires on bigger wheels.
  19. Hey Bobby, nice start on the Focus and the details are great!!!
  20. That is what I was hoping to here on the scale, thanks for the quick reply. I guess as soon as I get back on my feet work wise I will have to order one of those.
  21. Looking good. As for reference pics all I have for the motor on the L-700 is this from a flyer: Here is an idea for your motor if it isn't to late. I took these pictures at the Monster Mopar Weekend a couple of years ago.
  22. Looking good Dave. What did you use for the fence and building frame?
  23. Very cool, as soon as that is available I will be able to build this: Hosted on Fotki
  24. Awesome build!!! Love the cab theme and the carbon fiber on the valve covers and hat........nice work.
  25. I will second that, I have a 1968 Charger with 4 wheel drums and trying to get it to stop quickly was very interesting. Great job on the Chevelle, the details you put into this one is amazing.
