  1. This is too cool!! 2 questions........1) do they have an idea on when the rest of this kit will be available and 2) what scale is it???
  2. That looks pretty good Tom, looks like there is a lot of detail in the chassis and body. Have you got a color picked out for it yet?
  3. Nice paint job on the Vette and is the 29 going to be that low? If so it will be sick looking.
  4. Looking good David, the washes and plumbing really add to the look.
  5. You sure have a good start on it. Can you get a better picture of the rear of the bed?
  6. Ah yes I know the look on his face........all 3 of my kids started building between about 4 and 6 years old and they loved it. Now my 17 yr old hasn't built anything in a while but I remember not building much of anything at that age either but something tells me she will once she settles down. Right now my 10 yr old is building a diecast Challenger and my little 6 yr old girl wanting to build another one as well so they are hooked.
  7. Love the decals, those are cool.
  8. George, when Steven gets home from work I will have brandie call him and come over and I will ask him how he did them (popsicles I think) and take a few better pics of the stairs for you to go with it. BTW, love the avatar.
  9. I would give it a coat of white primer for 2 reason..........first the yellow will cover the white better since its a light color and second the white primer will also make the yellow brighter.
  10. Nice work on the weathering, it looks terrible.
  11. Very cool Ben, i will be watching.
  12. He looks happier than a kid in a candy store with a pocket full of money, nice build.
  13. I will do you one better, I seen somebody on another forum remove the chopped A-100 resin top and put it on the L-700 body and fit like a glove.
  14. Very nice, love the modern touches on it.
  15. Very well done, those salt flat cars are fun to build.
  16. Looks pretty good to me but as long as you are happy with it that is the important thing.
  17. Great build Bobby, nice job detailing this one.
  18. You are on a roll Mj, and you can't tell from looking at it that you had that many problems with it.
  19. Mj and red Stangs...........just what are we going to do with you?? LOL. Another great resto job from you Mj, nice work.
  20. Thanks George, and yes Chris's site in my favorites and I do plan on hitting his site as well. Hammers is on my list as well and I should be heading up that way soon for another doctor's appointment for my wife, I'll let you know when it gets closer.

  24. This was my Christmas present from my wife, oldest daughter Brandie and her boyfriend Steven. From what I am told, my wife came up with the idea and Brandie and Steven built it for me over the last few month. This is the best Christmas present I have received in a long time. few month. This is the best Christmas present I have received in a long time. The roof was a quick build today so they could get it done to give to me (waited till this evening LOL). I have some stuff for it already but now I guess I will be making a trip or 2 to a hobby shop for some stuff to lay some grass and will probaly hit Ebay, Scale Equipment LTD., and a few other sites for some goodies for this. I'm already trying to decide where to open the wall at to add a paint booth for it LOL. Well here are some pics of it:
  25. This was my only Christmas present this year from my wife, oldest daughter Brandie and her boyfriend Steven. From what I am told, my wife came up with the idea and Brandie and Steven built it for me over the last few months. This is the best Christmas present I have received in a long time. They really caught me off guard with this am I'm tickled to death over it. They said they got behind and the roof was just built today before they brought it over to me so it needs some work but this is a great start. Here is a picture of it, I will post more in the Diorama section.
