  1. Kurt, did you miss the part about The Other Monogram engines that might fit ?
  2. Certainly an old school endeavor. Not that unusual
  3. Years ago a member of our model club (Moon Light Modelers, Phoenix AZ ) continually talked about the HEMI he was going to put in his '71 Challenger. This was way before the new generation. One meeting he showed up with his car running the HEMI he spoke of for so many months. Jaws dropped when he opened the Hood and eyes saw the big ol 392 iron block HEMI nestled in the engine bay. Needless to say we were speechless.
  4. That's it and it fits, nicely.
  5. And all of those would be available from Monogram 1/24th scale kits. Great. Engine Swaps, AMT / Monogram, kit to kit not AMT to Monogram
  6. Funny how the model companys miss such an easy marketing chance. I thought AMT/ RC2 could have beat Revell to the punch with a reissue of their '29 Model A roadster when Revell was having trouble getting it to the shelves after all the hype. Then, after the fact they did.

  12. Here it is Under Glass Bad Actor 1960 Chevy Sedan Delivery by Monogram ?
  13. The end, '61 chevy tail lights from round cowl Lindberg kit. Owing a real '60 I found out several years of tail lights would interchange.
  14. Gotta love multi carbs. Ran this one on my '60 El Camino
  15. Wanted something different in the way of an induction system. Talked my good friend John out of his extra Man-A-Fre . Actually just a Chevy Fuellie base
  16. Monogram wheels dug out of the parts box, big meats from an unidentified Revell kit.
  17. I also opened up all of the body scoops. This was accomplished by first drilling out the opening then tedious file work.
  18. I've noticed many deride the fit and operation of the 'flip' front end. So I worked especially hard on that part not having any real difficulties. I did deviate from the instruction build sequence in order to achieve a better body fit on the lower front panel gluing it all up first and doing the basic sand and finish.
  19. I have built a few of these
