  1. Really. I can do photos on my phone and Ipad I'm on a lap top here. Haven't put up any pictures in awhile
  2. No, just finished. Gotta figure out how to get the pictures here
  3. Some clean box art for you. Thanks for looking
  4. BAD Actor. another new hood treatment. This time it's a staggered NACA ducted hood. The large roof insert is gone and in it's place a smaller moon roof. Check out the full length front spoiler, no more chin whiskers.
  5. Quicksilver up next. red insert is gone and the hood now has a scoop.
  6. Just finished one off and sitting at the bench looking at my handy work I got to thinking about the first kit in this series and all the different variations. I think this one was first not sure which issue. Red top insert with a flat some what out law style hood treatment. Another interesting point, they all seem to have two names, a Boxtop name and then one on the car itself. So here we have the Street Fighter / BADNEWS. Wheels change with each new reissue also. not sure about the engine Induction, everything else engine wise stays the same.
  7. Another interesting aspect of looking at early information is the original perspective not tainted by the passing of time.
  8. How did you get there ? Just navigating the search feature or lack there of can be rather frustrating.
  9. Did any of the Monogram '40 Ford pick up kits come with a stock engine ?
  10. Some Tri Five BOP bodies like this "57 Buick
  11. Where do you want to get these parts from if not other Monogram kits? See my post on engine swaps Monogram Engine swaps
  12. Sorry this is all spread out. I tried to post in the "General" section but i kept getting an "404" ERROR
  13. Another question, what are all of the engines available in these kits ? Stock four banger in the '30 coupe and phaeton. Early Cadilac V8 in the '28 pick up. Pontiac V8 in the one of the '32 roadsters. SBC three twos in the Tee bucket. SBC six twos in the woody What have i missed?
  14. I've noticed the Blue Bandito has the same frame as their Coupe and woodie and phaeton kits thus the engines are interchangeable.
  15. If it fit in this engine stand that came in many of the early kits, you knew it would fit in those early kits. '32 Ford roadster and coupe. '36 Ford. '40 Ford coupe and sedan. '34 pick up
  16. Their engineered motor mounts and chassis mounts are all the same. A little work on some body parts might be necessary here and there, i'e' putting that HEMI from their '32 roadster kit into their '40 Fords.
  17. Like the early AMT hot rod kits where their engines fit from kit to kit
  18. My question here is, How do the early Monogram Hot Rod kits stack up this way. The kits in question would be their Model A's, '32 Roadster, '34 Ford, '36 Ford,' and "40 Pick up?
  19. Nice build for a kit that's rather long in the tooth.
