  1. Here's a thread that will provide you with reading enjoyment for many hours, along with modeling history and a look at weird kits you never knew existed. I'd like to thank everyone that has contributed so far, this is great. Not only "How did I miss this or that kit, but how did i miss this thread?" Enjoy.
  2. and the "Motor Works" box proves it. That's exactly what your build will look like, i don't care how good you are.
  3. But as mentioned by others, it does show what's in the box , good or bad.
  4. And surely you jest. Comics ,early and WWII are something I have made a study of and can't think of any off hand. Maybe you could give an example or two? Nope, just don't see it
  5. Here are a few, i think they did eight before they stopped.
  6. I got my first look in the short lived Rod & Customs Model Car magazine of the sixties
  7. I would garner a bet, most here have never heard of those you have listed, much less seen any of their work.
  8. A few of his books, more at Amazon.com Books of Gerald Wingrove
  9. Well, i'm trying to fix that right here and now. Mr. Tom Geiger Modeler Extraordinaire
  10. I'm usually not the fastest either, even with my own puzzles
  11. Yes, something i've just started
  12. RIP, if you have't read or seen his books you owe it to yourself as a modeler.
  13. I must agree with that, and maybe add : If some is good, and more is better, then too much should be just about right.
  14. Who is making / selling photo etched grill inserts ? For the 1932 Ford Deuce? Would these be specific to any particular kit ? 1/25th scale It would be nice to get a whole sheet of them instead of the ones i remember with a bunch of other parts i'm really not interested in.
  15. Wonder where the molds end up. Not a whole lot different than the injection plastic molds, now you see em, now you don't.
