    Sometimes the side of the box gives up some nice art. Often great art is compromised with lettering.

    I used to wonder the effects of the oil shortages / embargoes. Plastic being made from petroleum, surely there would be an effect. Seeing cheep plastic BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH in stores also bothered me, wasting precious plastic that could be used to make model kits.

    these had some really nice wheels, but the tires were pretty weird. the sidewalls were flat, perpendicular to the tread, not very realistic. a real shame too, as they were cast in a very realistic rubber.
