  1. As an automtive repair shop owner it amazes me how FEW young men know anything about cars, they cannot even check their own oil. Of the few that are interested their main concern is the sound system. I guess I'm lucky that my son has joined me in the business. He has quite a few car collectors coming in for his after hour work. His client list includes 1927 LaSalle, 1929 LaSalle, 1937 Cadillac, a few 1940 and 1941 Cadillacs, 1950's Chevy pickups, 1962 Corvette and a 1967 Corvette he is currently doing a carb overhaul on. And lots of Austin Mini Coopers, Land Rvoers and other British cars. These people are finding it harder and harder to find anyone with a passion to keep these cars going much less have any knowledge of them.
  2. Thanks tony, that's how I'll do it.
  3. I'm building a 3100 to match one my son is building for his father-in-law. I bought the kit off of ebay but it did'nt have directions. No problems until now I need to install the firewall and inner fender panels. Are they attached to the frame or the body? I can see locating marks on both. Thanks in advance.
  4. I don't remember if I introduced myself or not (53 yrs old gettng CRS). I'm Jeff Grebe from St. Louis. Back in modeling after a 35 year lay off. Picked up where left off with 5 on the bench already!
  5. Thanks for the reply, I though one of the resin casters might have made one.
  6. Are any of the current plastic or resin NASCAR bodies shaped like the real cars? By that I mean the cadywampus shape of twisted in the front and rear, or are they pretty much symetrical?
  7. I'm gathering parts and Info myself to build a '69 Penske Camaro. I was suprised to see they used the factory door panels! I thought they would have made aluminum panels.
