Wow, this is terrific. My father in law collects the 1:1 Civics, he drives them everywhere and boasts about the gas mileage he got when he gets there. Anyway, back to you, super clean build, and your photography is great too.

What a beauty. That paint is a mile deep, gorgeous!

This is great. I absolutely love this.

This is awesome! One of my favorite movies, and you did it justice. I'm sure it was just a typo, but, Lane ski'd the K12, K2 is simulated pot, not that I have any experience with that. Great job man!

I really like the grill. I see the point that it may be a little out of scale, but I think it looks cool.

The Stealth is such a cool car, nice job. Did the headlight lenseseses come smoked or did you at that touch?

Thank you Michael, Mark, and Ray, I appreciate the kind words. I used the dupli color rattle can, I can't remember what the color was. I too love the Riv's!!

I chopped the top a smidge, and used masking tape to simulate the vinyl top.

Thanks Vince, I appreciate that!

That's really cool, and it looks awesome.

I felt like the body needed some ground effects so I grabbed some styrene and started gluing. We'll see where this goes, but I think I like it.
I'm wanting to go for a 66 with modern styling, so I shaved the door handles, emblems, and the molding around the new top, and I pitched the window vents as well. I picked the cowl style hood from a 67 Impala. I'm really digging the stance and that Camaro rim. Oh, I also smoothed out the pillars like a newer car, I guess this means I'll end up flush mounting the windshield, no idea how I'm going to do that yet, I'll fight that battle when I see the white of its eyes.

This is going to be cool. Very creative.

Wow, this is flawless.

Thanks Bill, Brad, and Dan.

I can't take credit for the idea of using this top, I wish I could remember where I've seen this done before so I could give the credit where it's due.

Crazy mod, and by crazy I mean cool. Can't wait to see where this is going.
Me too!

I filled the gaps with some styrene and did what any respectable body guy would do...added a few gallons of putty.
The roof is a really good fit, almost too good of a fit, so therefore something is definitely wrong. Anyway, I really like the tires and rims on the Camaro snap kit, those Chevy rims look cool on a Ford.

I've never posted a work in progress before, so this may end badly.
My model station is in a transition period, and my photography has reached a new low.
Now that I've set expectations really low, we can get moving on this.
I'm taking the 66 Mustang, removing its top and replacing it with the extra top from the 57 T-bird kit.
The suspension on the kit is terrible, so I'm leaning towards making this a pro touring, air bagged, big rimmed, modern ride.

Thank you very much for the kind words. I completely lost my mind on the engine, so much so that I want to build another one.

Nice job Clayton! That thing is sweet, and you pulled that off in less than a week? I can't get off the couch in under a week. Well done.

I "finished" this last year, it was one of those that sat unfinished for a long while. I butchered the original black paint job, and threw it back in the box, defeated. After watching how normal people don't let that stop them, I eventually felt like I owed it to myself to get it in color and call it a "searching for a sponsor" FC.
Found this....

That's so true, I use to watch Knight Rider more than scrambled cinemax. I tried to sit through an episode awhile back and I found it to be an impossible task. I'm not sure how a watch can pick a dead bolt lock, but okay.
