I guess I spoke out of school! I'm sure a lot of folks will agree(notice how I toned down my rhetoric) that this kit goes together really well, no surprises, crisp edges, etc, etc. I've built several of these, if you are going to build just one hot rod, Steve, make it this one. Just ask Nick!

Nothing special, other than the wiring, and some plumbing, it's pretty much OOB. These are great kits, if I were trapped on a desert island and could only eat one plastic model the rest of my life...

I thought the whole idea of a rat rod was to be "low-buck", you use what's at your disposal and make it work. When did $150,000 become low buck?

Not a lot to tell, I'm just another guy who caught the model bug and never got over it. I'm in my mid 40's, married with 4 children, and we live in KC. Pretty exciting stuff. I really enjoy looking at what other folks are building, there are so many great builders on here. I hoping to find a really positive forum to spend some of my leisure time.
