  1. Beautiful finish and amazingly deep color. Did you have to polish it out after painting?
  2. Hi Folks!

I'm back after 5 yrs absence from the forums.

Looking forward to seeing great models and stealing ideas from you all on how to improve my own modeling skills.   My current build is the MPC '67 GTO that so many are grumbling about.  I hope I don't run into any issues.

  3. changed out the picture, it was way to blurry when I attached it.
  4. I have a set of left over tires and wheels from that Foose FD-100 as well, I think you just gave me an idea to use them on a '61 I have just waiting for inspiration! Thanks!!! Here's my version of the FD-100
  5. So, did you ever get this finished up? I like the direction you were going with it.
  6. Hello fellow model builders. I'm Tim, age 56 and I enjoy 50's to late 70's cars, stock, mild custom and street cars like I used to see on the road when I was growing up. Many of my builds are typical "used car" looking styles. Not totally factory stock new, but not "aged" either. I like a clean build of a shelf model, most any type, but realistic in appearance with some detail added. I prefer to not compete anymore in contests, but I do enjoy going to them. I appreciate the time and effort some folks put into building these phenomenally built kits, but it got to the point for me, that it took the enjoyment out of building them. (and I never got to the level many of you guys are at!!) I just do this for my own enjoyment now. With way too many kits in the closets, I will just build them to my taste and move on to the next one. Attached are just a few of what I have done to my level of enjoyment. All you superbuilders... ROCK ON!! LOL! I love checking out the work! Tim in NC
