  1. Does anyone out there know where i can get either a 4900 series or 7400 series 1/24 scale cab with hood
  2. That's a great idea. I never have enough clamps
  3. Nice looking. like those 55's
  4. Thanks for all the comments. It was one of my first builds after being away from it for 30 years. I've never done foiling before, that was definitely a challenge. It was a fun build. I've learned a lot from these forums. That's what it's all about people helping people.
  5. This was a restoration of the original kit that I built in the late sixties. The plastic was some what brittle. It was completely torn apart and rebuilt. I did a lot of detailing to the engine even making the bell crank for the throttle.I tried to make this as period correct as possible, even down to the watts linkage for the rear axle in the trunk.
  6. This is an old AMT kit that I built. It's a stock build other some detailing of the engine and interior.Paint is Dupli-Color Bahama blue met.Feel free to comment.
  7. I am 57 yo. I started building model cars back in the mid 60's stopped in the late 70's. I've just started up again in the past couple of years. the eyes aren't what they used to be.I've been fooling around starting to restore some of my old models.I'm currently restoring the original Swindler 2 kit with the opening doors and trunk. it's nice having the internet to get info. Never had computers in the 60', had to wait for the monthly Hot Rod and Car Craft magazines to come out .Model cars, it's great to be a kid again! Paul
